When we got him, I was a little worried about the tank, because I figured he'd easily put up 25 points even if it was under 40% shooting. His defense, shot selection and playmaking is so poor, you almost forget the missed layups and poor shot % overall. But now I realize he's great for the tank. :D Just not good for the future of the team. To me, he's a bit better Jordan Crawford, who you bring off the bench on a good team.

Impressive first half by Johnny Davis... not. Wes force fed him minutes but he did nothing while Deni cooled his heels on the bench

Great first half by Kuz, but not enough to make up for the rest of the ineptitude.

The good news is that we truly won’t have to worry about the tank this year. Poole isn’t going to magically become a good player and we aren’t magically going to bench him. Couldn’t be happier. Honestly.

I'd much rather watch out G League guys than our top ten. At least they bring effort

Just got home and going to put it on. There's been a Shamet sighting this year? Great, let's showcase and deal him.

Good to see Wes bench Poole this 2nd half. I get we're tanking, but his effort level has been abysmal!
LOVE Deni's play so far this season!

Nice to see the young guys compete on defense in the end against ATL starters and make this game respectable.

Deni's shot is improved, without a doubt, form and consistency just look a lot better.

I thought Poole was going to be decent enough to maybe garner trade interest at the deadline. At this point, no one is trading for this guy. He brings very little to the table.

Deni has had 3 really solid games in a row. If he turn the corner and this is him going forward. Man that contract looks like a steal.

Kuz probably has the most trade value on the team

Jordan Poole needs some guidance. He's still young enough to improve and he needs too.

Wright, Shamet, Gallo are all looking like prime trade fodder.

I do believe this sub was a little overoptimistic in their win total predictions

I was too. But one thing that's being overlooked is that Wes is a terrible coach. He has not made them close to competitive so far this year, and the one win they had was against a downtrodden team.

I would fire him, and get Nate McMiliian in here, who has shown he can take a team from downright sh*t to average.

Man, Deni looks so good! Great lift on his shot, ball-hawking on the perimeter and inside too, driving, dishing, competing. What a pleasure to see.

It's a long season. There will be dog days when teams come here with injured players playing back-to-backs and end up overlooking the Wizards. I still think we will win 23-27 games.

Let's face it. The only players on the roster that matter in the long term are Coulibaly, Deni and maybe Kispert. So if those guys play well, I'm happy.

The Celtics just beat the Pacers 155 to 104, so we're not the only team to get blown out by them.
