I was there with you until I saw tape on the shoulder and the airball FT last night. We're 4 games in and something is already not right with him. Unless he got hit hard on that shoulder and we missed it, I have no more hope for him.

Let's be REAL here. This isn't the peak D12 era where we expect to win EVERY game. So I dunno why its depressing for some of you. We are a borderline PO team, composed of 1-3rd yr players. Of course we are gonna get spanked on any give day/night.

Jalen Suggs' impact is much bigger than what you see on the stat sheet! Love it!

Ain't in order but what I liked till now is, the defensive focus overall, Isaac getting minutes and looking like a defensive beast, suggs has the same issues but he improved what he does great. Cole first 2 games he is our human torch for sure. The 2nd unit overall minus jingles is playing well. And lastly the .500 record, I would love to see the team playing fighting for a playoffs spot although I'm super fine with a play in experience. We won and loss the expected matches im ok with that

You know.. the ONE big positive i have of this team this early in the season? A lot of posters are posting in the Magic board. Granted some are as negative as pepe ( i mean i thought he was the unique one here, imagine my surprise when there are a lot )

Anyway certainly better than the apathy i got seasons past.

Still we are acting like we are the defending champs or something lol

Every game before the game starts, I am hoping for a win for the Magic and that is why I watch the game. For a W!

Even we play Milwaukee next week, i will still watch the game and I will still hoping for a W.

That is what fans do. Are we good enough? Maybe yes, maybe no. But at least the chance is not 0%

Why are the losses depressing when we know we have only a small chance of winning? It should be expected.

Defense has been really good, it's been consistently good which makes me lean toward thinking that it might be real....the bench for the most part have been solid....thats about it....everything else hasn't been really consistent

I would feel great if they just picked their lane now rather than waiting 40 games.

But otherwise, nothing really to complain about on the court given some of the guys they are playing. They’re a scrappy group that plays hard.

It's very early in the season. We're 2-2. The game against the Lakers was a psychological loss. The Magic did what they could to fight for the game, unfortunately, they came up short. That happens when a young team like the Magic plays against a savvy vet team. The Clippers loss came down to lack of fundamentals and errors. This team is treading in the right direction somewhat. Obviously they still have a lot of work to do to get better as a team. They will get there as long as they keep building on their fundamentals and chemistry as a team. I still have them as a potential play in team regardless. There is a lot of season left. Just get back in the lab and stay at it.

Look, we’re still young. The two teams we looked better than and beat (Portland score was closer than it was) are winning some games now against teams people thought looked sneaky good very early. Paolo is not playing like himself, a little sophomore slump starting out. Shots are not falling, but we’re moving the ball much better and our overall offensive rating is better. Our defense is superb. Lost to the two very veteran LA teams. Should’ve won the Lakers game and the Clippers we had the third quarter bug again when we should’ve stomped them in the first quarter. I think we should look at inserting Jett and Caleb on certain bench units to help quick shooting and energy. Black and Jalen would be a disgusting defensive back court in spurts. ( yes the shooting would be horrendous) but we’re 2-2 and we haven’t even played one east team. The west is stacked. Even the bad teams are young and athletic. Hopefully Mose has them come out raging against Utah and the first west coast trip will pretty much be successful. If we get through this early part of the schedule close to .500, I think we’ll be ok. Let’s wait a second before we freak out. I swear, this board can be like the Dr Pepper college football fansville commercial where they’re saying the season is over after the first play.

Because we've been rebuilding since 2012, we've blown many draft picks, and it seems pretty clear that we don't have the right front office to end this ludicrously long rebuild.

I expected the clippers loss. I was hoping to beat the lakers to start 3-1.

The general level that this defense performs, the Magic don’t have to be great offensively to win. They obviously have to be better than they were against the clippers though…but that was really bad even for this team.

If we are being reasonable, a guy the size and athletic ability of Paolo isn’t going to keep missing around the basket. And we probably aren’t going to beat elite teams very often.
