2016 Warriors started 24-0. Only reason I remember this is cos we almost ended their streak. Double overtime loss for us at home. We softened them cos they lost the following night @ Milwaukee lol.

Ha I remember that lol. The scrappy mid-teens Celtics v. Warriors were fun match-ups.

That’s right. Lazy google search failed me. The Celtics best is actually 14-0 in 1957. Mavs and Rockets also had 14 and 15 win starts too.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Freaking Perk hated the trades we made and was very negative about the C's before the season started. And now instead of admitting they look good he says he still hasn't bought in because Porzingis is a loser who will suck in the playoffs.

Perk is garbage.

It’s well known that he’s a clown.

It's been nearly ten years but I still can't believe that Greg Monroe ended the best NBA start of all time. Celtics got their revenge later that year wth a win @Golden State that ended the longest home winning streak of all time (54 games). IT went scoreless in the first half, noted that his shoes didn't have any buckets in them so he switched them out at half time and dropped 22 in the second half. Good times

I used to believe these numbers meant something. Then we fell to the 8th seed Heat lol.

3P% thus far for the starters:

Tatum - 40.6%
Brown - 44%
Porzingis - 45%
White - 57.9%
Holiday - 37.5%

Obviously, it's just 4 games and these will all come down back to earth, but I'm pretty confident this team will be able to handle that because of our defense. As insane as it may sound as Smart is DPoY 2 years ago, but I believe White and Holiday are both better 1 on 1 defenders than him. And Brown is a better defender at the 3. Tatum is Tatum and Porzingis has been an awesome rim protector as well. Even on shots that he don't block, it's pretty clear how simply contesting is bothering attempts close to the rim.

Dallas’ 3 pt shooting is even crazier. Grant Williams is taking nearly 8 3pt shots per game, almost the same as Tatum who takes the most on the Celtics, and his hitting 55%. Meanwhile he is third on the team in attempts with Doncic taking 11-12 and Hardaway 9.

If only Grant could rebound like Looney, Grant would be the perfect replacement for Al.

He's gonna get a lot of open threes playing next to Doncic. They were 3rd in the league in 3pa last season and 1st right now.

Is this good ? Do they need to sign Dwight Howard to shore up their rebounding ?

sign Dwight Howard
trade Pritchard for Drummond
trade Banton for a 2nd to free up a roster spot; sign Boogie
trade Svi for a 2nd to free up another roster spot; sign Blake
trade Stevens for cash; sign Dwight Howard again
trade Jrue, Jaylen, and Derrick for Nate Thurmond (sign and trade)

lineup:
Dwight/Boogie/Blake/Thurmond/Dwight

GET IT DONE, BRAD!!

You are nuts to think we should sign Dwight twice when we could sign Derrick Favors instead!

:rofl2: :rofl2:
my bad. I forgot to get Reggie Bullock in there once or twice too. I believe as he ages he is going to rebound his position exquisitely
Paul Pierce appreciation society.

No way the Cs or Brad signs Dwight.

Signing Dwight means Kitty is also signing with the Cs.

Idk who Kitty is, but we only have one roster spot open so there's that...

Gotta keep winning so it isn't all for naught. Let's go for that 8-0 or maybe even 9.
