Hopefully that absence was to have Dame go recruit an actual head coach.

I'm even kinda starting to believe the Dame "body language" stuff and I hate myself for it.

I just watched all of his games up until this point in his career and he is definitely on a different team right now.

Isn't Dame going through a pretty rough divorce? That could easily explain the body language stuff and the personal absence
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

It’s not just that he was picturing South Beach and got Milwaukee in November, He’s also going through a divorce and fighting for custody of his children. I’m sure it takes it’s toll.

I am assuming another bad start. They will play like they met at the court five minutes prior to game time and never met each other.

Pretty easy to start bad when they start by letting the other team’s best player attack Beasily while Brook is 25 feet from the rim and Dame is standing off ball on offense.

Also easy to start bad when it looks like they are coasting from the start.

Yeah, you can have a terrible start and still put effort in. That's not happening.

Imagine being a top 75 player in NBA history. Playing with another top 75 player in NBA history, and your coach is running set plays for Malik Beasley, Pat C, and Bobby Portis.

Now imagine that play ends with a 15 foot off hand running scoop shot.

Imagine that it started with Portis galloping down the court with the ball like a wounded gazelle, always a millisecond away from losing control until he dribbles himself into a trap.

We should throw Dame and AG a welcome party or something. Get to know them better. Help them settle in.

Yeah. I can’t imagine leaving the city I’ve lived in basically my entire adult life, going through a divorce from my college sweetheart, and starting a new job so to speak. My body language would not be 100% chipper all the time.

Would his body language be the same if he was in Miami? I doubt it. It’s early, but this has a Gary Payton feel to it

Idk this doesnt seem so hard offensively the whole offense should be designed to get Dame and Khris open for shots and Giannis and Brook open for lobs and rolls to middle. Seriously, anything else is stupid.

Defense and athleticism problems vs some teams will likely force us to the younger backups sooner than later.
