would explain a lot and make me much less worried..... probably means that we're still sick and will get shelled tonight tho (knicks are +185 btw excellent opportunity for a sadness-hedge :reporter:)

I, for one, am in desperate need of a positive conspiracy theory so I'm choosing to go all in on this one. Sincerely would explain the lack of energy. AG knew this and as a brilliant leader he ran decoy plays, only to unleash our actual gameplan when guys are at full strength and Brook does not have poop in his shorts. He's playing the long game and I like it.

Anecdotal evidence to back up my cope/fever dream: I work in Mequon and literally everyone is catching the last week or two. I just got over it and while I did not poop my pants, I was so drained of energy and didn't really enjoy being upright at all, let alone running around.

Poop.

How isn't brook **** himself a bigger deal? Like how is this the first in hearing about it and not through memes from casual fans

It's just poutine they had on the bench, they was in Canada. But it did slow them down and make them lethargic.

Honestly I think it’s because it’s happened several times with other players lol. Paul Pierce, Harden, Usman Garuba in some international thing, etc. It’s slightly less funny after it happens a bunch of times I guess.

Imagine Brook’s bowel control as the reason AG gets a longer leash.

Don't worry he wasn't going to play meaningful minutes tonight anyway.

Every year I’m like “summer league doesn’t matter”. Now that there’s a winner I want us to win it.

Same for this silly in season cup or whatever. It doesn’t matter… unless we win. Then it’s suddenly very important.

If we could see what the team was trying to do then we could maybe get on board. The fact is that there is no clue right now as to what the identity of this team is going to be. None. We don't even know if we want to be known as an offensive team or a defensive team, because we are so random and bad on both ends.

Griffin has told us all he’s not trying to recreate any wheels here. I think he is honest. October 2023 was Bud’s play random strategy, next level. Nobody would have ever guessed how random things can get. AG is demonstrating.

Exhibit 1a: Beasley as shut down defender.

Let’s not get too worked up. This team needs to fail first. It’s that simple. We will be calling for stature of him after this team comes together around Christmas.

I like it. The biohazard offense.

Incidentally, a few minutes ago I turned on NBA radio in my car and heard the announcer say "and Sean Sweeney is taking over the team." Either I was hallucinating, AG is down with the bug going around, or there is big news.

I just want to enjoy watching this team play, please. We have Dame and Giannis, it shouldn’t be that hard. Please.

I could totally see Robin giving everyone a shhhhhhhhhh as he puts an open chocolate pudding cup on Brook's chair right as Brook is about to sit down. Robin is that guy...lol.

Isnt Sweeney an assistant on the Mavs?

Have you ever tried to block a shot after you **** your pants? Brook kind of looked like that in Toronto.
