Aren't we missing a lot of mintues here? Your chart sums up to 104 minutes. We've played 4 games (48min x 4) = 192 min

Even considering garbage time on the 2 blow-outs. Maybe the rest of the lineups are all like 5, 4, 3, 2 minutes... Guess that means Mazzula is trying a lot of different ones.

But thanks in any case for the useful info on line-ups.

50 lineup combos in all, including 24 minutes of garbage time.

It would really help to pad the posts for this game thread if you could just go ahead and post all 50 lineup combos with one lineup combo per post.

Thanks
Management.

Let's hope the Bulls run the nets to death in a close game tonight.

I don’t understand why that’s a group game for the stupid tournament but Saturday isn’t? Make it make sense

Confirmed: Neemias Queta isn't the Wolverine as previously speculated.

For the NETS: Dinwiddie and Dennis Smith Jr. are now AVAILABLE for tonight's game against the Bulls. Cam Johnson and Claxton remain OUT.

Your Boston Celtics are currently the lone undefeated team in the NBA. Gotta win this one to keep it alive.

So Woj says Boston has the deepest, most talented team in the league.

I take that as he likes our bench.... more than many on here!!
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

So, who will replace White in the starting unit?

Hauser, might be the best bet, as he performs well when paired with the Starters...
at least he did last season.

They could go with PP and run a lot of traps, full court pressures.

Two bigs and Al, but the Nets are kind of small these days.

Or just be sporting and give the Nets a chance to stay close by playing 4 against 5.

B Robb's Mailbag

https://www.masslive.com/celtics/2023/11/celtics-mailbag-76ers-threat-trade-talk-open-roster-spot.html

i love pp, but thinking about depth in the playoffs/injury, and guys going at him for mismatches should we go hard for Alex Caruso? — Petty

Caruso is always going to be an intriguing option since he makes low money and obviously is a different level of defender than Pritchard. It’s hard to see the Celtics needing to give up what would be a major ask from the Bulls for him. Chicago would be looking for a future first round pick and Pritchard would need to be included to make the money work in all likelihood. Don’t see that type of offer coming from Boston unless Pritchard really flops over the next couple of months and they are convinced they need an upgrade in that spot.

What do you foresee coming from the bench the rest of the year? What are positions of need? Can our current top 8 still be our top 8 come playoffs? Just asked 3 questions - whoops — Mike M

Bring them on, nice and succinct at least! I think the bench will be adequate as his year rolls in, expect them to produce some good net ratings in lineups with Tatum. More big man depth is the position of need in my mind. I think there will be a new member of the top 8 come postseason via the trade deadline. May not play every night but will be an option for certain matchups for Joe Mazzulla.

I would love to see the Celtics improve on big man depth is there anyone out there they can pick up using the grant tpe or any other sourcery? — Carlo C

Way too early, but which spot do you think Brad Stevens will look to upgrade come trade deadline season? — Sammy J

The big man question is a popular one and the options with the $6.2 million Grant Williams TPE aren’t too enticing at the moment. Kenrich Williams, Jalen Smith, Precious Achiwua are a few names that fit into that opening but whether their team are willing to move them remains to be seen. One name to watch if the Grizzlies are in the cellar for a couple more months? Xavier Tillman ($1.9 million).

I’d just start Al, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Brissett gets the nod. Coming off the bench has been an adjustment for Al, they may not want to mess with that.

I think you start Al just out of respect but still keep his minutes the same. Give the extra minutes to PP, Hauser, and Brissett

I would think it'd be Al. He's the 5th best player among the guys we have available to play tonight.

But that would be a little odd, if we started double bigs (KP, Al) against a team that last game started 0 bigs (DFS at the 4, Ben Simmons at the 5).

So perhaps Hauser (or maybe Pritchard) starts?

I wonder if Al would be pissed if Hauser/Pritchard starts over him? Perhaps he would understand because it's just the way we match up vs the small ball nets.

In preseason there was a game where Hauser started over Pritchard so perhaps it's Hauser - especially since Hauser shot the lights out in our last game.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

I love White, but they’ll be fine lol. The Nets are short handed and it’s the second night of a B2B.

Jayson Tatum just needs 16 points to reach 10,000 career points in regular season. He would be the 15th in NBA history to do so before reaching age 26 and 10th youngest IINM (just a few days ahead of Anthony Davis).

I need to adjust for the fact our starters don't play in the 4th quarter. had 4 out of 5 legs the other night, needed KP to score 15. Had 13 and didnt play the 4th!!!! :banghead:
