I saw the photos of him with Flagg and couldn't believe his listed 7'2 height. He towered over Cooper.
Me. Im high on Clingan, his game and numbers check out for me. If he declared to this year’s draft and he could have been a lottery pick IMO. But he’s gonna get big money and better opportunity with likely being drafted higher in next year draft.
His numbers check out? Clingan only played 13 MPG last season. Let's see if he can handle more of a workload this season. Oh wait, we can't because he already suffered a foot injury, before the season even started.
Kessler played 26 MPG as a sophomore. Let's see if Clingan can handle that type of workload - and if so, can he stay healthy, and can his production and efficiency still be high with all those minutes and all that defensive attention on him.
Also, Kessler had more upside as a shooter than Clingan and Kessler was also like 40 lbs lighter than Kessler which means Kessler is more mobile, more agile, better equipped to get up and down the floor and keep up with the FAST paced NBA game, slide his feet laterally to stay in front of drivers, etc.
Not many bigs in the league who are good, can stay healthy and are 280 lbs+ lbs.
Let's see if he can handle playing 25 MPG at the college level before the lottery talks.
