Tbh, the biggest problem with FVV and that contract is not so much the years or money, it's that FVV is good enough to take touches away from the young guys and has the ego to do it. He's not really going to take a step back for anyone.

The sooner the Rockets get rid of him the better as that'll give more opportunities to Sengun who should be the Rockets primary scoring option at this point.

They need to focus developing Sengun first and foremost, and FVV counters that. At least with Brooks, he's not going to act more than a role player.

In other words, FVV needs to be on a team where he can clearly tell there are Star players way better than him, otherwise he holds your team back.

Yup, been saying the offense should run through Sengun. The guy can play and has a chance to be top 3 in his draft with Barnes.

FVV was brought in to help bring the young players along but then goes along and takes 22 shots on putrid efficiency while someone like Jalen Green who actually matters is getting 10 shots. This is year 3. The Rockets should be running things through Sengun and Green to see if this is going to work. We all know Houston signed FVV to have that very tradeable expiring next contract season. He's not part of their long term plans, and he just doesn't understand where the value in his game is.

This should be an easy suspension. This dude is always looking to injure people. They gave him a flagrant 1 only. He even flopped after doing this

And clearly Embiid knows what he's doing, has control of his own elbow. Like when Lebron smashed Ish Stewart with an elbow to the nose a couple years ago, definitely not inadvertent

If I'm Nurkic, I do the exact same thing to him next game and dare the NBA to suspend me. Then make a scene if they do.

The league office would punish him severely and not give a second thought about the hypocrisy and double standard

WaltFrazier wrote:Watching replay of GSW OKC game from Friday. 3rd quarter, just tuned in and within 5 minutes Curry does two flailing flops as he releases a 3. And wasn't touched. No foul called on the D either time thankfully, and Steph made both. But what he did is the exact definition of the new anti-flopping rule, exaggerated overly dramatic reaction. I wonder if he'll be called for the new rule even once this year.

Then Chris Paul flops catching an inbound pass after a basket, gets the call. OKC announcer properly called it out, putting him on the line totally undeserved.

Between the two floppers and the behaviour Draymond gets away with, GSW are becoming very unlikeable to me.

OKC playing great without Shae early 4th as I'm watching

Saw the rest of the game, finally saw the play where Draymond hit the rim with ball in cylinder. As the OKC announcer said, hitting the rim like that always results in a goaltending call, the ref can't judge and say it was going in regardless. Everyone who knows the NBA knows if the exact play happened in the verse, the review would have disallowed an OKC basket. This is the league we are fans of.

Breakdown of Dame's bad defense but the writer talks about Griffin's new system, aka Nick's, with a lot of mad scrambling, as being badly suited for Bucks personnel

Had no idea Josh Primo was with the Clips on a 2 way. Just got converted to a standard contract so he must be showing something. Insert joke here

Even though I don't think it'll work, I'm still interested to see how the new Clippers play. Harden debuts @ Madison Square Garden vs. the Knicks tonight.

He was already damaged goods and Boston was able to flip him as a perceived asset. All their fans knew he was cooked too. It's a shame because he's a great centre in today's league when healthy.

But let's also agree to attribute this to the Blazers curse.

Though they're 5-2 and the season is early, the Warriors will need to complete a trade before the deadline.
They barely have any consistent offence outside of Steph, they didn't really replace the offence Poole provided.
I always think back to their wasted draft picks, OH WELL.

Rooting for a team that has Randle and Barrett as starters must be tough.

Embiid infuriates me. You can see plainly in this video that the shot attempt itself is secondary.

If players can drive into the lane with no intention of attempting a shot while expecting to score points, something is wrong.
