They played Spurs, Nets, Grizzlies, Bulls, Nuggets, Hornets, and Magic.

Nuggets and Magic are the only team they have played that is over .500. That is the reason why they are 5-1 and now 6-1.

Because Harris wouldn’t have allowed them to shoot 1/16 from 3PT in the 2nd half?

Yeah we could have really used Gary and Carter

This take is so lukewarm. We got all of our momentum destroyed by a simple stoppage of play over Luka's acting.

We're now 4-3. Considering our starter's average age is something like 21, that ain't bad

Honestly this and the Clippers were two best teams we played this year so far. Team needs to learn how to maintain leads and not play with your food as kids usually do.

Ok really… I am sure they were not playing with their food. Dallas made a conscious effort that they were going to come hell or high water keep everyone out of the paint and we went on one of the biggest cold streaks outside shooting in a while. Everyone cared everyone busted their ass we got beat by a more experienced team it’s going to happen when you’re starting a 19 year old 20 year old two 22 year olds and a 24 year old…

I actually said that earlier in this thread. Both can be true as we completely stopped moving the ball and the players just stood around as either Cole, Franz and Paolo tried to create against a defense packing the paint. Magic have to learn how to hold leads.

But if we're that fragile, we're not any good.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Mosely’s post game comments are solid: Can’t let our defense suffer when the shots stop falling. Need to learn how to play with a lead. Young players need to learn from this. At least he sees what we see.

It happened 3 times.

Lukas acting
Foul reviews taking 15 minutes
Questionable Jump ball that took what seemed like an hour

Took all the momentum out.

In LA they did this by stopping play and zip-tying the backboard (?) took like 15 minutes after Orlando went on a run.

I blame those like 4 Ingles plays in the second quarter tbh. Sucked all the energy out of that run. Dumb mid-range shot, turnover, bad defense, offensive foul

It's a forgivable loss. Let's let our young bucks grow with this

When Mavs made their run, our team just collapsed offensively and defensively. We just do not have the toughness to keep the lead.

City court and Jersey looked decent, on a positive note.

We literally responded to that and built a double digit lead before halftime. It comes down to the fact that ball movement broke down and our players started settling for bad shots in the second half. Also, lots of turnovers.

True, but it got down to a 6 point lead. Felt like it could've got ugly quick. If they were down like 20 or something (which was possible) and they didn't start the 3rd like thy did, it's a diff story. A lot of what ifs obviously but we needed them to hit shots in the 2nd and they didn't dot hat

Magic should have had a 25 pt lead at half but those 8 2nd Q turnovers kept them close enough to attack. They were mostly unforced, just bad decision making, focus drop, etc. Can't give a veteran team with Doncic/Irving freebies.

But something like how to score in clutch times in tonight's game will be something coaches need to take a look at and learn from. We went to Paolo and Franz but still couldn't find opportunities to score. Maybe there were Fouls but just bad offense during that stretch

just finishing up ...that one got out of hand in a hurry. Mose was right to get angry...the Mavs getting some superstar calls. I feel like Franz gets fouled a lot with no calls. At the end of the day we were just rough in the 2nd half. 1st half...we looked great.

AB had some fugly shots tonight...the one thing I see with him every time he catches the ball in the air i am expecting a touch pass before he lands... I thought he looked pretty good on Luka early...in the 2nd half he looked like he was having a hard time against Kyrie.
Suggs - I don't really remember anything from him after that flagrant.

Doncic - he sure is getting good at those step backs. I

Overall it feels like we let this one get away from us...really a disappointing effort in the 2nd half on offense and defense..

Disagree. That was truly a disaster despite our youth.

6-1 is 6-1...there are no easy wins this year, every win is deserved.
