Minny wasn’t moving the ball either, their last 7 pts were all Edwards iso right in our faces lol basketball in the clutch is iso.

The refs made it a loss. It probably would have been ugly either way.

Our new guys a combined 9/30, 2/10 from 3. Regroup. We can't keep playing this way and hope we win against the tougher teams with sheer talent.

I dont think this is directly on the coach the players need to stop this damn iso ball. So far we've been out talenting teams and i was hoping as time goes on we would start to see the guys get a feel for each other and we would see more team ball

The Nuggets don't. The Warriors don't. If we're going iso ball, our stars have to be elite at it. Or at least read defenses better.

Eh. So take yourself out of any type of offensive rhythm, just run iso plays every trip down the floor which are one of the least efficient play types in basketball.

Also, if we had done that, Minnesota could have easily made adjustments. They could bring a 2nd defender to help Edwards, double teaming whichever one of our guys was going at Edwards. Then what?

Or, they could have switched defensively as soon as our guy started to attack Edwards in isolation. Then what?
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

This is how they've been playing the last few games.

Yep, and my point is, it works against lesser defensive teams. Faced with physical, tough play, we crumble. See Warriors/Heat in the past. Call it confirmation bias but it's what I've been seeing past few years.

Doesn’t matter. You still go at him and put pressure. Here you go again defending that turd of a coach.

JT got locked up by Mcdaniels. End of story. Wolves won because Edwards made tough buckets

He felt contact and heaved it up to get 3 free throws except these refs aren't having that.

Zero chance any ref is ever calling that. And even less than 0 when it's Sam **** Hauser shooting in crunch time.

Refs do call that regularly. Don't you remember Jimmy Butler salesmanship at the end of game 6 that put them up by 1? The refs weren't calling anything for us tonight though.

Why?

Because we lost in overtime, on the road, missing 1 of our best players, to a team that had all of their guys, a team with the top ranked offense in the league, a wolves team that came into this game having won 2 games in a row - both of them blowout wins, with 1 of those wins coming against the defending champs Nuggets?

They do though. Lol in the clutch teams space out and put the ball in their best players hands. That’s what we did. That’s what they did. Their guy did it better. Nobody is passing the ball around 10 times in order to get Hauser a shot. Don’t complain about iso ball, complain about the fact our two best guys are not good enough to do it at times.

Huh? The issue Zoya is talking about - it was an issue when Udoka and Brad were coaching too.

Let's not overreact here, though. It's our 1st loss of the season. Obviously we weren't going 82-0.

Yep. They put the ball in the stars hands and they read the defense better, pass when they should, take the shot when they should. Our guys just keep chucking. No need to pass the ball 7x. Set a screen. Draw a double. Something else other than dribble for 10 seconds and chuck from three. Or drive into traffic.

Why are you asking me? You're the one bashing him - maybe you should answer that.
