The Boston Red Sox have met with Jordan Montgomery\'s agent, according to a report.
Montgomery, 30, split last season between the St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers. He posted a 3.20 ERA and a 3.46 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
The left-hander also had a terrific postseason, pitching to a 2.90 ERA in 31 innings as the Rangers won the World Series.
