I agree that our return game isn't getting many yards, but at least I don't see them doing stupid things like Amari and fumbling the ball every possesion.

As for Carlson, I am seeing he is getting worse in the past weeks, but I wouldn't say he is super bad. He is making the easy ones and missing the around 50yards field goals, so mediocre, IMO.

They're bringing the ball out, which is the very definition of stupid. Simply doing nothing and taking the free catch improves ST instantly.

I don't see how. Being a top 5 player on a bad offense isn't notable especially when 11 guys play on the field at a time.

This probably has something to do with it

Dillon has been a little better lately. Granted, that's not saying much, but at least he's not tripping over his own feet so much. I still see no reason to keep him, but I'm going to stop calling him godawful for a little while.

ETA: Not surprised by the stats above. He's punishing tacklers a lot more lately.

Wicks is slowly making his way onto more lists like this. Really excited to see if/how he develops over the next couple of seasons.

Yikes! If Myers, Runyan, and Yosh are out Sunday, what's the lineup? Who plays Center? Tom or Jenkins, or door#3?

This is an interesting claim. Day 3 pick this past year.

The Green Bay Packers released S Innis Gaines (IN-iss). General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction Monday.

I've brought it up several times but it's hard to not be impressed by our trio of young pass catchers. Reed, Wicks, & Musgrave all look really good for rookies

Some interesting data and opinion on the 2023 Packer Receivers:

https://www.acmepackingcompany.com/2023/11/15/23961043/green-bay-packers-reacts-week-11-best-receivers-2024-nfl-draft-needs

....On paper, Christian Watson, who looked like the Packers’ best receiver last season, has been an incredibly inefficient target this season — in part because contested catch opportunities to the second-year player have turned into interceptions going the other way. Personally, I’m not sure that we’re seeing a 100 percent healthy Watson on the field right now, as he’s not separating in the same way that he was last year.

Along with Reed’s breakout, rookie fifth-round pick Dontayvion Wicks is also performing very well on a per-snap basis, which you would think would lead to an increased amount of snaps at some point. If I had to choose two outside receivers to roll with moving forward, I think I would bet on a Watson bounceback and give Wicks the nod over Romeo Doubs.

I'm all for giving Wicks more snaps, but don't think Doubs should lose snaps to Watson right now. Pair Wicks with Doubs on the outside and try and get Watson more touches from the slot, end-arounds, basically anything that gets him out in space with the ball. Reed can pretty much play inside/out, or in space and looks like he could be a legit playmaker.

Bummer about Ford, but that gives Johnson more reps. He looked good in his first start.
