Official Roster/Lineup Thread: Post-Soften Trade

Two thoughts:

1. I'm loving Oubre in the starting lineup, it can really help us get to a fast start. Between Embiid, Maxey, and Oubre we will score. I know it's good to have the scoring off the bench but let's pressure the bench to play better. We don't have to have lineups that don't include Maxey, Oubre, Harris, or Embiid.

2. What I really came here to say: Am I the only one that desperately wants to see Reed and Embiid play together? I don't remember ever seeing them play together, according to Google they have at some point but not yet with Nurses system. I think Reed and Embiid together would be great. We would have to see mo' Bamba but maybe not if we can get away with one of Roco/Morris/Batum filling in for center for brief sprints without Reed or Embiid.

Bonus thought:
Adding someone like Brogdon to our starting lineup and pushing Oubre to the 6th starter would solidify us as contenders this year.

Final thought:
I'd rather see more House replacing Springers minutes when the games count. Only because I believe House is capable and Springer could use another year of development to be trusted in meaningful minutes IMO.

I think Springer needs a ton of regular season minutes this year so he can be effective next year.

Springer is going way too fast. It almost looks like he over-hustling.

He knows he's not good enough to be on the floor right now unless he's playing with a ton of energy and making defensive plays.
At some point the game will have to slow down for him on the offensive end or Nurse may move away from him with so much depth.

He's making it difficult on himself. If your open shoot it, if not swing the ball or put it on the floor to collapse the defense and go up strong or pass it back out.

Pringles for knees. We will get burned by the most injury prone player. There is a reason the 1st trade was canceled for him.

There's a reason Boston traded him and Rob Williams. And one of them is already having knee surgery.

It's sad the league doesn't realize yet that if Boston is trading someone, it's because they're damaged goods.

Yup they have a history with it. Isaiah Thomas being someone else. Even Horford was let go because they were concerned about his health.
