Bol's PER is 3. Wow that's awful. For perspective, Okeke's is a horrible 7 this year.

And Ingles is a 4...

We certainly missed the boat on that one :noway:

Bamba too. Funny how when ORL finally taps out on a project, the next stop is usually deep deep bench, then maybe China

Ingles needs to become a deep bench guy. He lacks on being a rotational player. In that Bol was replaced with "Bol". Sad.

The Pacers put 152 pts on the board last night.

Indiana is a scary team to play with Halliburton. What I wouldn’t give to have a guy like that.

There was an interesting segment on JJ Redicks Podcast with Tim Legler. They talked about how Steve Kerr wanted Chris Paul for all the things we know he does well but the big one was turnovers. Kerr said turnovers is what was really hurting them previously.

When you roll CP3, Moody, Kuminga , Saric and Payton off bench, most teams simply can't match that sort of talent.

Rolling with a strong bench also helps when your big 3 (Curry, Thompson, Green) are between 33-35, easier for them to keep their legs fresh for the playoffs.

Curry doing what he's doing at his age (35), he might be the best conditioned NBA player in history, especially considering how much he moves in a game

Jordan Hawkins last night for the Pelicans:

31 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 10-19 FG, 7-14 3PT

Too bad we didn't need a player like that with our two lottery picks.

Atleast Barnes is doing well to start the season, we'll have to see if that 3 pt shot is for real as the season progresses

I'd still rather have Franz at this point, and not like we really had a choice

Cleveland is losing to OKC on the road. Been a very underwhelming start to the season. If they decide to retool, I'd love to be dance partners.

Watching Marcus Sasser tear it up for the Pistons, I always wonder why we never use our high second round picks to draft a NCAA older player who was an All American type. Every year there seems to be two or three of those who fall down the draft board because of their measurables or their age, but then they wind up being excellent pros, just like they were excellent in college. Rather than just giving the picks away or selling them for cash, it might help us to take a shot once in a while and add an established junior or senior who has proven it at the highest level in college. Instead, we fill the end of our bench with 25-year-old journeyman cheerleaders who have already peaked physically, but will never do more than fill in for major injuries before falling out of the league in a year or two and winding up overseas.
