General 2023-24 Season Discussion (and videos, gifs thread)

Seems like the "regular season barely matters" mantra has gotten to all levels (coaches and players included), too many games are being played at 2nd gear with low effort. Also, techs given out for "hanging" on the rim and if you touch a player it's a foul. Bad.

Won't post this in the Bucks sub because their mods are thin skinned but they complain every year about their coach but it's their roster. It's not good enough

Yeah it's mostly rubbish.
Watch Rockets games if you can. Only team I've seen that consistently runs stuff with intentionality and game-specific strategy and play every game like it actually matters.
Most other teams just run the same generic concepts against everyone and hope it works out.

And this is coming from a Spurs fan, so would not be recommending the Rockets if I didn't mean it lol

Impressed with the play by the Pacers. Fun, fast-paced, lot of passing and good defense.Tough win last night in Philly. Haliburton's beasting with season averages of 24.7p, 4.2r, 12.5a on 53/43/93 shooting splits! :crazy:

Just the last 2 games: 32 assists, 0 TOs.
