O-Face Ared Effries. The defensive specialist who wasn't good at defense. I didn't hate him, but Carlos Boozer was on the board. A proven player and I knew Ared would suck.
Mike Miller and Randy Foye because they were not my guy Stef Curry.
Javaris Crittendon because murder.
On the flipside, players who were favorites for no good reason:
Andre Miller. Love his slow-man game.
DeShawn Stevenson. Because he was crazy. But had heart. No fear. Willing to pizz off LeBJ.
Godd Shammgod. On the name alone.

Well Doc. If you're going to bring God into this, gotta consider Mo Almond and Laron Proffit as goats

Like everyone else that had to suffer through those Webber/Howard/Chaeney teams, I hated Juwan. One of the top 5 highest paid players in the league with Greg Ballard production. I've sort of gone the other way in reflection. I thought he kept his professionalism up despite all the hate; unlike Webber who is definitely on my all whiny B team. I don't generally hate untalented scrubs, even if they are Eric Maynor, generally save it for guys who could bring the wins and leadership but are more interested in posing and personal stats.
JaVale McGee, Bellamy (Duckworth is a good mention but I don't think of him as a Wizard)
Webber, Andre Blatche too
Terry Dischinger (always hated him as a kid), alt Kenny Green (the exception to the untalented scrub rule)
Larry Hughes, Swaggy P
Rod Strickland, John Wall

Larry Hughes? Really? Just wondering why. He really blossomed with the Wizards. I thought he was underated when he was here.

Re: Most Hated Wizards of All Time
The harmless knuckleheads have kept this inept franchise at least somewhat interesting. I can't hate any of these guys
Nick Young and Javale
Jordan Crawford - who else gonna shoot
Rod Strickland - downing hot dogs at halftime
Kwame - waste of a #1 overall, but the source of much comedy
Baltche - this is your captain
Then you had the guys with no real business in the NBA and were just kind of ridiculous for one reason or another
Michael Smith - no real skill but trying hard
Michael Ruffin - no neck
Popeye Jones
Charles Jones - old dude, tried his best
Muresan
Ledell Eackles - chonk
Doug Overton and Chris Whitney - seemed like good dudes that just tried their best but weren't that good.
Bob McCann - shaped like a prison guard
Terry Davis - only skill was drawing charges
Michael Adams - only knew how to shoot - no defense, no passing, no nothing.
Manute Bol

Yeah, I've got no problems with Howard at all. That guy was a professional who played hard every day. It was just so maddening that we let two HOF-caliber PF's (Webber, Rasheed) for such a paltry return and Howard was the guy that remained. But none of that was Howard's fault.

I forgot how much I hate Dumbwiddie when he was here. Annoying player.

Re: Most Hated Wizards of All Time
I don’t hate players for the circumstances we put them in so I won’t put Juwan, Beal etc. on the list. Same for taking our $ when we offered so can’t blame Nicholson, Mahinmi, etc. I know we paid Dinwiddie but he started the passive aggressive bullshite as soon as he walked in the door, so he’s in my top 3. Blatche didn’t have to live up to the big 3 hype, but he never seemed to try at all. He’s on it too.
But my most hated player is Jordan. Took over an admittedly mediocre team but set us back a decade by using the entire freakin franchise as his vanity play. Pollin firing him is one of my favorite things he ever did.

Irrational fondness - I mostly agree with you guys above, though I didn’t start to root for the Bullets till the 90s. I’ll add Darryl Walker to the list. Always played his heart out

Blatche and by far the worst ever, Morris.
Yuck, both of them just scum.
Honorable mention, crypto Chad.

Irrational Fondness:
Jarrel Eddie - First game played lit it up from 3s.
Dominic Mcguire - Athletic underdog 2nd round pick that was fun to route for
Bryon Russell - opted out of his contract because of his hate for MJ. Allowed us to sign My favorite player (Gilbert)
Hated player I dont think I've seen mentioned yet.
Rashart Lewis

Re: Most Hated Wizards of All Time
I was especially fond of Larry Hughes (he and Arenas really complimented each other); Caron Butler (gotta love the nickname “Tuff Juice”); Rod Strickland (his passing and penetrating was a thing of beauty); Andre Miller (I marveled at his old school game that relied on smarts and trickery rather than athleticism); and John “Hot Plate” Williams, who was on the verge of being a special, multi-skilled player until he blew out his knee and got fat.
Older guys on my fondness list include Tom Henderson, Bobby Dandridge, Charles Johnson and Larry Wright from the 1978 Bullet championship team.

I hope Bradley Beal goes to see a movie on the last of of it's run and the power goes out before the ending and he doesn't get to see the ending on the big screen.

I'm really thankful that Beal left. Dude is worth about half of what he's being paid
