No **** they are 22 and 21 of course they aren’t ready yet…

Lol they are worse than they were last year. I don't think you are supposed to go backwards.

I honestly think we run into this issue until Paolo gets experience and develops an outside game. This has happened in every single game where the Magic give up the lead and go to Paolo at the end of games. Even the Utah game we luckily won we gave up a 6-7 point lead late.

Fultz back and paolo goes back to playing like trash.....correlation? probably not right? either way franz and paolo has to be better man....we can blame spacing and other things but if they're playing well those things usually don't matter

There is no way in hell the coaching staff thinks Cole, Fultz and Suggs are all better than Black.

Get rid of at least one of them. I don't care who so Black can play 30 minutes a game.

No say what you got to say. You're a mod remember?

The coaching and execution absolutely pissed me off. Cole gave us nothing on offense and was being hunted defensively in the 4th. Suggs was wide open on that Isaac 3 point attempt. Black should've had a chance to finish the game since he already plays with good IQ.

Ingles was probably our best facilitator tonight. My patience has ran out with Markelle.

only place where he's completely open....up to him to knock down the shots

Uh have you seen him shoot? He needs to be at the elbow or the low block. He's not ready to chuck 3's yet.

Same here. I'm starting to think Magic needs to reevaluate whether Mose is the right coach now that we're trying to compete.

That's not what I'm saying at all lol

Yep... I defended Fultz all offseason but Paolo plays better at point.

But also, Paolo's best games have come during Franz's worst games. Is this anything?

It is laughable that they just lost that game. Like I actually laughed out loud.

Paolo took and missed that last technical free throw in a one point game. Mosely shouldn't allow that to happen.

Black and Blue wrote:I’d like to blame the players but seriously this was as bad a coached end of a game as I’ve seen in a very long time. No called timeouts. No clear direction given to the players. Questionable lineup at the end there. I’m kinda speechless at it all.

It’s like Mosely sat on his hands and let it all happen. When is he going to start to realize he needs to change this **** up?

Yes I get we are at .500 but all of the losses reek of awful coaching down the stretch and I worry this won’t get better.

It’s annoying to only be up because things work one way.

Then you ask guys who haven’t done anything to step up at the very end of the game after being absolutely cold.

No adjustments.

Teams are keying on them more so they have to be ready for it. I honestly don't think they'll get used to it next year but we'll see.

Plus the whole "they're only this age" only goes so far. "Potential" sells tickets but it also only goes so far.

9 TOs between Franz and Paolo tonight. I'm sure there's 2 points amongst those that win us the game. Lessons to be learned.

Mose is a defensive head coach, that his his specialty. He was the mavs defensive coordinator. Right now our offensive coordinator resigned right before season. Mose is responsible but there are other circumstances at play to be patient.
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

Are we really building this team upon Paolo and Franz? I start to question this... Not good enough, period

Trade fultz !!!! Can’t have a guy scared to shoot threes as your lead guard . Paolo is a different player without fultz . They play in the same areas of the court

You can't rely on either to carry the load, but at least Markelle can run the offense.

Any starting caliber point guard in the leagu can run an offense , magic need to change him out , he doesn’t shoot threes even if left open that’s just not acceptable. Even ji shoots threes and he sucks at them lol

I'm pro Fultz but now I'm ok with trading him out, after seeing open 3's become midrange bricks I'm done so I'd rather see AB develop, hopefully he can take okeke with him.
