That's not descriptive enough

No offense to you because I know everyone's frustrated after a loss, but I just hate stuff like this.
The first possession you referenced... Paolo gets an off ball screen and gets the switch on Capela.
Johnson (Isaac's man) and Trae (Suggs' man) both collapse down on Paolo at the elbow. He kicks left to Isaac instead of right to Suggs who bricks a wide open 3.
Are we blaming Mosley because the action they set up created two wide open shooters and Paolo just passed to the wrong one?
Next time down Fultz and Paolo run a quick dribble hand off and Paolo just plows right into Johnson for a charge with 20 seconds left on the shot clock. Johnson was in great position and Paolo could have easily turned it into a post up or even reset.
Next time down Franz isos on Capela after a switch and blows by him for a score.
Final possession they try the same Franz iso on Capela action
Like in the final 4 possessions they got: WIDE OPEN 3PT, CHARGE, LAYUP, WIDE OPEN 3PT.
Not sure what else y'all want? The action worked. The guys just missed.
Wasn’t going to say the quiet part out loud but… Fultz.
What is he doing on offense if we are expecting a 3 and the action is getting Paolo the ball?
Why is it that we have Isaac taking heavily contested shots in crunch time over literally any other option than Fultz?
Paolo isn’t reliable enough from 3 yet to just put the game on the line open or not.
Exactly. My friend who is a giant NBA nerd (but not a Magic fan so was kinda taking it all in) was completely flabbergasted watching with me. He said, “Hold up, so the team is expecting Paolo ISO ball for the remaining 5 minutes nonstop even though 1) the Hawks are double teaming it because you have friggin Fultz and Isaac out there, 2) that’s not at all in the typical Magic offense, and 3) that isn’t a part of Paolo’s repertoire yet?” And I had to agree and simply watch the team slowly choke the game away as Mosely stared completely perplexed on how this could be happening.
So yes I’m totally concerned that a non magic fan was able to diagnose the issue in 2 seconds while Mosely will say something about reviewing the tape or “the shots just weren’t falling down the stretch” or something. This team has enough talent to be a borderline playoff team but I don’t know if they can be more than that if Mosley coaches this way.

No, we certainly are not good enough to bench lotto picks.thelead wrote:just wondering if Jett is going to get anything but garbage time minutes for this team. We're not the GSW. We're not good enough to bury lotto picks this badly.
