.. and why does he make Rudy look short?

I really hope we get to see Rudy on Wemby for sections of this game, french rookie vs french master.

We have a very good chance to win if Vassell is still out.

Vassell returned last game. Only played 12 minutes and not well. I think our chances to win are very good. Wemby and Vassell would have to be pulling off some magic for the Spurs to win.

Wemby is perfectly capable of doing it himself, but I think our three bigs keep him in check.

Will be another good test. SA is not good despite having Victor. It will take some times for this young team to learn. If we wanna ba a contender, this is the kind of games we have to win.

Last season SAS wiped the floor with MIN. Our players better remember it.

The Spurs, like the Magic and Raptors are not so great teams that always give us trouble. Very interested to see how we come out in this one.

I'm a big fan of efficiency. While I was scanning some stats I found one that made my eyes pop out of my head. Mike Conley is currently on an assist to TO ratio of 30-1. Mind Boggling.
This leads the NBA of all players with enough assists to qualify. 2nd place is noted A/TO Maestro Chris Paul at 9.4.

That’s what makes me a little more nervous about this game than I should.

On paper we should win handily. Pop is still the coach who might have some wrinkles. Maybe some spurs remember the ant 49 game last year.

Should win comfortably if wolves are back and last game was any indication of not letting teams stick around longer than they should

Spurs have been blown out the past 2 games and Wemby appears top have hit a bit of a rookie wall.

I'm interested to see how they'll defend them tonight. I think we'll see it mixed up a bit to give him different looks. However, the wolves can't afford to take this team lightly.

Minnesota cleaned up some things in transition after the Raptors game. I think Minnesota will have another solid defensive game. SA may win, but it won't be like the games last year. I think this will look a lot like the Utah game. Wemby - like Lauri - may look good in spurts, but Minnesota will hold them below 100 and win the game by double digits.

In other words he is leading that stat so much, he is leading it thrice over lol.

This is an important game. Transition is our big weakness, young teams with nothing to lose pose a huge threat because they can run like nobody's business. The spurs whooped us last year by doing this. This is a horrible game for Towns to be flipping out in because Pop will have his guys taking advantage with fast break buckets. This game is not a gimmie. We have to be diligent and we have to move our butts. We do that then yes, we should win but if we are lax, we can get the doors blown off the hinges and erase a lot of amazing progress and goodwill. Need to be pros tonight because this is not a good matchup even though they are far less talented.

It will be critical to establish the pace of play. You usually don't hear that above high school or maybe college, but that is absolutely critical in games like this.

And Spurs fans are fired up right now. I don't want to give any early momentum.
