paolo really showed how much he has left to learn from this game. from the silly flagrant foul and showing his emotions on the court because the hawks were frustrating him. pretty sure that led to his poor defensive decisions and his not so amazing shooting night

He played terribly down the stretch but didn’t really have a bad game. Shot the ball well with 50%, led the teams in rebounds, second in assists. He needs to cut down on TOs but he is young it’s going to happen. And doesn’t help when your second best player is having an off night as well. I just don’t understand the need to cool him garbage when it’s pretty clear he is going to be a pretty good player.

Calling him out is not calling him garbage… I’ve said he’s a good player, but he is not HIM.

You do realize he shot 50% from the field, right?

For his body and size, he really reminds me of Julius Randle. He is not a franchise player in my opinion.

It takes a lot more. Speed, explosiveness, ball handling and shooting. He is a very good player. Just to me, I am not ready to hand the keys to him just yet

Paolo is nothing like Randle, lol. I really don’t see the comparison. Paolo is quicker, a better passer,a better ball handler and will likely be a better shooter. Paolo is so far ahead of Randle when compared at the same age it’s not even funny.

Dude played decently until the stretch end of the 8th game of his second season. I really don’t know what you guys are expecting from a young. If you watched someone like Giannis in his second year he was doing far less.

He’s built like Randle- that’s it. What makes Paolo unique is his ability, at that size, to put it on the floor and blow by people like a much smaller man. He leaves defenders grasping for him and that puts him on the line. Part of me is concerned that if he develops a more consistent shot, he’ll hang on the perimeter when he gets a little tired (or frustrated with the lack of spacing his backcourt provides). He’s a lot more Giannis than Randle…in the way he plays, at his best.

He needs a reliable 3 to keep defenders honest (just like any viable non-Center) but I'd put much more emphasis on continuing to develop his already exceptional playmaking…he could be a routine triple double threat if he had the shooters to finish plays off of his gravity…again, Giannis- style, or like a giant sized prime Westbrook.

It’s like homeboy here waits for Paolo to have a bad game so he can say “See? I told you so.” Absolutely pathetic how he would rather be proven right than see the Magic, and their franchise cornerstone, succeed. It is entirely too early into his second season to say he isn’t the guy, lol.

Paolo is alot like Julius Randle in terms of being a 6'10 250 guy with guard skills but whether PB's game develops into an all star like Randles remains to be seen.

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

Paolo needs some time to learn composure and better decision making. If he works on that he'll be fantastic. If he develops his outside shot as well, look out. The questions is whether he will develop those tools or not.

I did not like his defense last night. It wasnt an effort issue either, he was making some defensive mistakes that he shouldnt be making.

Now I know you're just trolling...go check the Knicks board, they'd give him away.

He needs to really work on that J like Amar'e did. That will benefit him and the team the most to be honest.

In my opinion I don't even think he is worth that much. He is one of the most overrated players in the league. Would be much better as a sixth man.

I'm not even following this line of thinking...what would Randle's role be in ORL's lineup? (regardless of value)
