Howell is the least of their concerns (crazy to say that). Like you said Raf, they need o-line help desperately to give Howell time, but also to create more holes in the running game. I really like our RBs and I don't believe they should be a bottom 5 running team but that's where they're ranked. They also could use a pass catching tight end and a big target receiver. As much as I like our smaller receiving corps, I would be inclined to keep only one of Terry or Dotson going forward although I love both.

They need to dedicate premium assets to imroving the offensive side of the ball. They've spent tons of capital improving the defense with no results to show. They need better linebackers but I wouldn't spend much on that side of the ball.

I think Sam Howell is the answer right now at QB. He's not the issue. The OL is terrible. He almost be Philly Twice and if he had any help from his team on those games they win.

The OL needs fixed I wouldn't dare spend any picks before the third on any one other than line unless someone special falls to you.

I agree to a point. If Marvin Harrison is sitting there when we pick, I'd probably have to pull the trigger. Trade Dotson for a second and take the best guard available

He does infact look like a stud. I wouldn't mind spending assets to go get him and a high end guard or something but I just don't think you can ignore the lines another year. We have enough talent there, plenty of speedy wr later on in the draft too!

if the goal is to build a solid o-line (and I think that is priority #1), I would go so far as to trade down from a top 5 pick and really stock up on linemen. offensive linemen are unique in that you need all 5 to be really good in order for it work, vs. just drafting 1 qb, or 1 very good pass rusher.

between the sheer number of o-linemen needed, there's more value in the later rounds so it's not as boom/bust as qb's and pass rushers.

once the line is set, you have the luxury to reach and draft BPA to fill your holes.

Did anyone doubt that Seattle was going to score after Brown got the tying TD?

That's was a well fought game. Last second FG are cheap and you can't be mad at that.

Howell definitely looks legit. Good arm, can throw on the move and a completely stoic personality.

First priority needs to be upgrades on the offensive line.

That's what I like about him. Like Coulabally. No swag, no overly annoying celebrations and flexes. Just meat and potatoes.

Sam's the guy. He's making $2 million over the next 2 seasons, they basically lucked into a top 15 QB and with his cap hit being so low, they have an immense opportunity to upgrade the entire team while he's still on the cheap. O-line, linebackers, secondary should all be a priority this upcoming offseason.

I had left tackle as the #1 priority but the point about the O-line needing multiple good players might have me 2nd guessing that. At this point they do need a pass rusher and I have to believe any other regime is going to want to upgrade the linebackers.

Put me down for the Forbes ejection being BS, flag yes, ejection no and for that 3 in a row penalty sequence that began w/the late call of pass interference on St. Juste. Hate excuses but that basically walked Seattle into the end zone. It seems that the team has an OK interior line post-shuffle, so maybe the two tackles are the upgrade--OTOH there seems to be big arguments on whether Cosmi is any good.

I'd drop Rivera and JDR and let Bienemy take the reigns for the rest of the season at least--though I do wish he could get the run game going. Defense and run games usually travel well.

Yep, do it at the bye week (or earlier if they lay an egg again against the Giants).

Hopefully this is the official end of the RR era. No offense to the guy, but the team simply has underperformed under his regime. It’s over dude…time to retire.
