Brown still can't dribble and Jayson Tatum couldn't be bothered to get on the floor for a loose ball.

Other than that, awesome I guess?

Still not a serious contender...or they don't play like one right now.

Someone give this guy a hug. Or pass him a joint or something.

Sorry fella. Just have seen this movie before.

It's been on a loop the last three seasons.

I have not read or listened to a single thing about this tournament malarkey, so I am going to just go ahead and assume that this game means the Celtics have won the whole thing and will be hoisting a banner at the next home game.

had to eat but one win down!!! i have no idea how many we need to win but 1-0 is a great start! bench came through!! wish pritch was aggressive a bit more in his minutes in every game. missed some shots but when he made those first 2 3s it seemed like he was different on both ends. hope this is his turning point.

Whether we like it or not, we're stuck with PP.

We have more pressing needs than PP. Our backup Bigman - Kornet.. and Brisset need to be improved upon. Kornet has to be the worst 7ft rim protecter and Brissett's value of a "hustle player" isn't high enough to overcome his horrible looking offense/shooting.

Tatum has looked amazing scoring the ball this season but his ast/to ratio is almost identical to Brown’s. That’s weird. I’m guessing that doesn’t stay the same going forward

Agree.

But I think those things will not be addressed until Feb or March.

Buy her 10 more pairs then so she won't run out of jammies every time there's a C's game.

Who’s always on the floor when JT is off?

That’s right… tougher opposing lineups.

I do not enjoy playing the nets. They are gnats who chuck. Lots of guys I enjoy as individual players but feels like a gimmicky team. Maybe it’s just dinwiddie.

Ah well I am glad to see the back of them for now.
Idk what to say about this game; didn’t think anyone took it that seriously; including Joe so neither do I. We won because we’re better. Good to see a long stretch where Pritchard Hauser and Kornett all play together and win their minutes.

Good confidence builder for them.

I enjoy jrue.

Despite the hate, I thought Kornet did his job very well. Exactly as you'd expect a third string big. Did everything asked of him and was instrumental when the Nets threatened a comeback

Brown again struggled with the bench. Tries too hard to be the man, which often leads to a string of turnovers.

Pritchard and Hauser did their jobs. Some good vision and nice assists from PP. Both are unreliable shooters under pressure.

Brown and Holiday are consistently shooting the ball short though. Brown really needs to sort that out.

Luke had 2 offensive rebounds and then the rightly-praised pass, all on the same possession.

I worry that Luke Kornet got to look better than he really is because he just played a Team without any healthy Bigs.

So far, the Celtics haven't played a team with a formidable backup big other than the Wolves (Naz Reid) and he ended up with a +4 in a 5-pt loss. At a minimum, his stint on the floor didn't hurt us that time. There's just not a lot of teams in the league with above average bench bigs. And I don't think Joe will play him 10 minutes against a Jokic or Embiid if KP/Al are available. He's a regular season minutes eater and he's playing that role to a tee, just like last season. Just roll him out with Tatum-led lineups.
