Amazing for 3 and a half quarters.

Sounds exactly like Embiid, dominates for most of the match and kinda sucks in the last quarter.

I'm betting on Black developing the jumper and being a stud.

That should make Jalen Suggs available. Which is a risk worth taking IMO.

No. Embiid actually is a reliable go to guy down the stretch.

The problem is in the playoffs, when it gets repetitive and predictable.

You might end up being right. I also see the intangibles, like size, versatility and good basketball IQ.

I just find that you’d be more successful in “shorting” guards who can’t shoot and aren’t scorer, and to long on guards who can shoot and are scorers. Just better probability IMO.

Problem is that the NBA wasteland is overloaded with guys that had the same attributes. A consistent jump shot is kind of like accuracy in a QB - very hard to develop at the professional level.

Look at the guys on our Most Wanted list right now. OG Anunoby and Jerami Grant. Is Anthony Black's jumper any worse than theirs was, at this same point of their career?

If the kid is a good kid that works hard, draft him and trust him to develop.

Man, the Timberwolves are actually really good. They figured out the C/PF rotation, they have excellent wing defenders, Conley is the perfect floor general, and Ant is reaching superstar levels.

Naz Reid is the best center for the Timberwolves and it’s not really close.

Also Terrence ‘The’ Mann looking like his usual lower mid self as the Clips get whacked again. I’ll take the draft pick instead ten out of ten times.

Isaiah Joe is just crazy good shooter.

Maxey and Joe backcourt could probably be splash brothers 2.0

Morey was already helping the Clips when he asked for Paul George in return for Harden.

Clips would then have better wing depth and be less clunky with non stars not being stationary. Harden would then help them get good looks and solve this PG-Kawhi redundancy.

Harden/Westbrook
Powell/Hyland
Mann/Batum
Kawhi/Roco
Zubac

Jalen Suggs would compliment this team so much and he still has upside. You plug him in next to Maxey and our defense goes up another level, he also give you another playmaker with size and you now have you backcourt for now and the future. It's also always nice to bring in more fiery, high Iq players.

If the target is a "star" with a Jrue-like profile, the names should be: Shai, Dejunte Murray, Mitchell, Morant....or Bane.
Not sure any of these folks woulfd be on the market though.

Maybe one of the Grizzlies

Maybe jrue like in terms of hierarchy in the league. Which OG really fits that description.

Bane would be ideal. Maxey/Bane is a Steph/Klay situation. I would offer the three 1sts for him, Mikal, Jimmy, or Ingram. SGA is a pipedream. Murray seems to be fitting and ATL is winning now. Mitchell is TBD. I wouldn't touch Morant, but that's just me.

I think OG is a nice fit, but I don't think he's the player Morey keeps talking about now. He keeps emphasizing someone who can provide offensive creation, which isn't him.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Grimes/Edgecombe/Gordon
Oubre/Edwards
George/Watford/Barlow
Embiid/Bona/Drummond/Broome

Shai, Murray and Bane are definitely not available.
Morant could be if he causes another disturbance but then why would we want him?
Donovan Mitchell I see requesting out. I think he want to go back home to NY however and both NY teams probably have more picks and better younger prospects then us since Maxey is untouchable. He would have to demand to come here. He seems to be pretty cool with Embiid and Maxey. As well as our ex owner Rubin. Maybe we could tamper

Three firsts for Jimmy? I might go two protected firsts and a pick swap.

I’m definitely rooting for Pelicans to keep losing lol. Want the Ingram /Williamson don’t fit together narrative to get toxic. Something like Ben and Embiid except they’re not winning games. Ingram will be on his final year next season. If this season doesn’t pan out, NO needs to start fielding. Maybe even before the deadline.

Are we afraid that a two way player, that has some creation and good passing IQ may be Pascal Siakim?
