Houston up 10’on denver 4 minutes to go. Udoka coaching

Masai stubborn but Morey might the worst person to negotiate with in the NBA lol this is the same guy that wanted Lowry/Fred/OG + picks for Ben Simmons

Maxey wasn’t even playing 20 minutes a game during that season. He was not untouchable lol.

Just looking across the league lol, it’s unreal how far behind we are in sheer offensive talent.

Masai really wasted the first half of the 2020’s.

Rockets winning more games than the Raptors this season would be hilarious.

Also Sengun is as good as Barnes. Worse defender but better offensive player.

I don’t understand how some of our fans could “hate” Fred. The guy was a key piece of the team that won us a championship. I’m not saying you have to root for him but hating the dude is kinda ridiculous if you’re actually a Raptors fan

Dillon is an elite shooter and Freddy cookin so they have a chance!
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

I watch too much basketball and I think this every damn night. The biggest mistake they made, IMO, is thinking they can teach anyone to shoot. I don't know if it's arrogance, hubris, delusion, bad data, etc, but it's not working.

Not to mention the gritty defense. Both guys are always up in your face, trying to pick your pocket. Must be a nightmare to play against

Masai got too greedy as usual. I also think he really wanted to honor Lowry’s wishes, which was to go to Miami.

I thought Lowry was fine going to Sixers till talks broke down wasn't it? Then he shut down the trades after a certain point and said he wants to finish the season with Raps. Sixers were out after that.

I think he wanted Miami the whole time. Even said this has been in the making for the last 3 years when he finally signed with them.

Philly wanted Lowry, don’t think it was mutual.

Which is surprising given Lowry is from Philly.

Still, his family always showed up when the Raptors were in town, you'd have thought he'd want to go home.

Yep. He was not spending his mid 30’s in a city with cold winter.

He gambled and he lost.

Gonna take us a while to rebuild this roster back up.

Maxey was a rookie that year. Morey isn’t going to offer Maxey while other teams are offering Kendrick Nunn. Even the Lakers refused to part with THT. There was nothing being offered at the deadline.

He probably knows what it’s like playing for a team in Philly. At this stage in his career? No thanks. Not worth potentially tarnishing your reputation in your home city

Nurse is 8-1 and has Maxey taking a massive leap. FVV is 6-3 with Sengun breaking out and Jalen Green playing decent basketball as of late.

Whichever team trades for Pascal might get an MVP season and a championship out of it at this point.

Amazing that FVV was actually an impactful player after all. Who could have expected it?

It is pretty funny that the Rockets are 6-3 and just beat the defending champs. They won about 20 games last year.

Way better than i ever expected him to become. Let’s see if he can hold up on defense in the POs, but he’s definitely arrived.

Return to Toronto Raptors
