I always maintained that the Rudy Gobert trade was an overpay by only one first. If the pick obligations ended in 2027 instead of 2029, it would have been a totally even trade, given the supporting package, in my opinion.

Without Lebron, it is clearly a lottery team. I know, I know, leave the best guy from any playoff team, and they are likely not making playoffs. In Lakers' case however it is more depressing as AD doesn't wanna be the 1st option and they don't have any other candidate. Moreover, they don't have draft picks. What's Lakers' plan for the next couple of years assuming Lebron retires this year? Do they have a cap space for a big FA signing?

Career high screams per game.

Absolutely horrendous player. Would barely make most benches around the league.

He has a Kevin Willis T Rex wingspan. I hate his reach.

Well you can't teach height or whatever body type or limitations you have. You work with what you've got and Keldon's improved a lot. The problem with the generalities is that not only do they ignore the great game he had tonight, of course (20-12-6 even if inefficient) but also ignores that 'since he got paid' is 10 games  Also ignores that he's averaging a career high in assists so far but that doesn't fit the **** narrative.

For a 29th pick, you take this type of player and run.

These cost us 33 points (!), which was -18 so yeah very costly not only in lost scoring chances but in getting scored on. If one stat had to be pointed to, that one stands out. It's a game of mistakes, and we're going to have to work to clean it up with reps and synergy and focus.

Am I crazy or do the Wolves have a shot to win it all this year? Best defense in the league, as good of a 1-2 punch as anyone, good bench, good experience. Ant's got ice in his veins. Even last year, they gave Denver the most trouble in the playoffs, and they're a better team now.

Every team has a shot including Wolves. But they are unproven when it comes to playoff performance - the players, the coaching. It took Denver a few tries before winning it all. Winning in the playoffs is different than regular season. I'm not putting my money on this team this season.

C'mon Lakers, this is getting embarrassing now. It was cute blowing leads to top teams, but this is getting laughable.

Leads? They've dug a hole and had to come back in almost every game this season.

Will be shocked if they overturn it.
100% should be a charge though and would be in any other league in the world.

Need to win a round first. Playoffs are simply a different beast, but the ingredients are there to make a run. They have no guys on the roster who have ever played in the Finals.
