Is Gobert Kat finally paying off?

The 3 teams to the right are all who I'd have assumed. Love seeing the 76ers with an actual NBA coach for once.

Rudy was trying to be too much last year. Makes sense considering what the team gave up to get him. He tried to justify that price. This year he's just doing his thing and the team is playing so well.

Can't complain about 7th in net rating with Brunson & Randle playing like ass. Thank god for RJ.

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!

You can see how much of an outlier Minnesota's defense is. Dominating with defense. That's what I like to see!

Wait a minute...If I'm reading this right then how are the Spurs dead last in defense when they have the most likely DPOY winner in Wemby? He's averaging almost 3 blocks a game.

On the court the Spurs are giving up 116.5 points per 100. Off 127.4. So you can make a case they're the worst defense and he's ALSO that good a defender. Kinda wild and this early these stats should be looked at pretty lightly.

He didn’t do enough. His knee and back were not right.

Now he’s doing more, defending in space, etc.

He’s doing more, not less.

Injuries, The thing with D'lo and honestly no pre-season with working with KAT. We can say a lot of negitive things about him (No bag, Over-rated, Not worth 17 first rounders, French) You cant call him **** defensively. That combined with the Growth of Edwards becoming an Elite defender, KAT becoming a positive defender, Your weakest point of attack is Mike Conley but 3 dudes have 7 foot+ wingspans and Edwards has something stupid as well, And the 3 dudes coming off the bench are Anderson who has a 7'3" reach, Reid at 7 foot and NAW who is 6'5" and has a 6'10" wingspan and Shake Milton who has a 7 foot wingspan,

Just a bunch of long dudes who defend hard,

Gobert will never justify the price unless we make the NBA finals, but he's often been attacked because he has hard hands and has had to anchor some defences and cover some mighty horrid defenders over the years, This might be the first year where he's got 4-5 guys on the roster who will hound defenders and let him make really impactful defensive plays, I love that he's been able to go to the perimeter and defend guys from the 3 aswell.

Rockets rocketing towards the top right.

Interesting to see this plotted in this way.

I am not sure I think this current path is ideal developmentally for the Spurs.

Udoka, FVV, Brooks and Jeff Green are getting a lot of credit and they deserve it.

You also have to give the young players credit for stepping up when they finally were given some actual direction.

I like Mitchell Robinson, but shutting Wemby down isn't very impressive.
He's not even that good on offense yet. Anyone can shut him down by just encouraging him to bricks 3s

If possible, replace the Pistons logo with a bucket of turds. if possible.
