Same here. But honourable mention to Brown, who kept the dumb to a minimum and moved the ball almost like a team-oriented player. Hopefully this is the beginning of a trend and not just his answer to the compliments he received from KP.

Brown was good, but when he returned in the 4th and didn't make a pass the first two times he touched the ball I was swearing at my television. My tv gets very sensitive about stuff like that.

Apart from Tatum's 17-point explosion in the 4th, my favorite part of the game is how we survived the non-Tatum minutes. We were +4 in those 8+ minutes? That's good enough.

Yeah, there were two times Tatum left a man at the 3 point line and both times they made a shot. One time there were like 1.5 seconds on the clock so if he just stayed put there would have been a shot clock violation (there were at least 2 by the Knicks) instead of Tatum bailing and letting the guy hit a 3. Still, Tatum was clearly the Most Outstanding Player.

Tatum is so stubborn he could’ve kept taking twos and probably would’ve been consistent either way but he loves his three ball so much lol. Once he saw that 1 go down late in the third quarter, I had a feeling at least 2-3 more threes were coming soon. Once JT starts drilling threes it’s almost a wrap, everything opens up, teams panick, etc.

Good win. Defense remains very good. Too many corner 3's but also made the Knicks take tough shots...which they hit a bunch.

I need to accept this. In my mind, there's only one right way to play lol. Team has so many options and defense will often dictate how our offense responds. Just gotta hope that they make the right decisions 80% of the time. But I think it's been mostly our defense that stands out this season compared to early season 2022 that's led to winning.
