It's a B2B and I think Embiid was given a choice of which game to sit out and he took this one because he wants to play in Boston and he wants to inflict pain on them the way Chozen wanted to hurt Danielson Laruso in Karate Kid part 2. We're going to lose one if not both of these games and when that happens, some of you are going to start your bull$hit on here because some of yall are just doom and gloom, fearmongers.
It's important to remember the initial expectations for this year/season. We were never expected to go to the Finals and win it all. This was a step-back type of season to evaluate, grow, and prep for next year. We're winning games right now which is awesome! We're currently sitting atop the east which is amazing! But we're going to lose some games and it's going to be ok. Guys just need to go have fun, play some basketball and compete and the world will turn.
As for tonights game...We can beat them without Embiid, but it's going to take another heater from Maxey to do it. No Oubre, no Embiid, where's the offense going to come from? If there was ever a time for Melton to catch fire, it's tonight. Look for Tobias to have a nice game too. There's nobody on that team that can really guard him and he needs to exploit that. Sadly, this game looks like a scheduled loss.
