Well, we did play hard at least even though it wasn't our night.

I hate this tournament thing picking and choosing games, I don't respect it at all. They all should count for a period of time, picking and choosing which games is just dumb.

Marcus Morris is toast btw. I almost threw my remote when tj bulled him out of the way during the run that probably lost us the game. We had a three point lead toward the end of the third and they pushed it to maybe as much as a 10 point lead. Teej got wherever he wanted.

Tough team to beat minus wing depth.

Those KJ Martin free throws that no longer exist were Simmons-esque.

And damn I’d love to have TJ in our bench playing Pat Bev’s minutes.

Agreed. Him and House, Jr. should not see the floor again unless it's either garbage time or we are extremely short-handed. At least if Springer and KMJ played, you could live with their mistakes since they are still young.

It’s very hard to beat a team with any ability at all two games in a row. The other team’s pride just won’t allow it. That’s what we saw functioning at the end of the game for Indiana, where they kept answering the Sixers’ surges.

Definitely missed Kelly in this one. Tough shooting nights from Embiid and Maxey combined with a ton of dead weight reserve minutes between House, Covington (although he started in Batum's absence), Korkmaz, and Morris. A contribution from either of them could have altered the outcome.

Credit to Hali and Indiana. They played us tough and kept their energy for all 48.

That's true, but if I recall without looking it up. They still weren't all the time utilizing Oubre in the Joel first quarter bench lineup. They played Oubre, Tobi and Maxey in the 2nd, which works, but Joel is typically carrying hard. Tobias needs to be a bridge between both benches. Then he'll need a break, and they could use more punch then.

just can't play stationary corpses like Morris against these quicker teams...or at all.
team also can use another bomber shooter off the bench for those Biid only lineups
