A nice side effect of the win: if we win against the Kings on Novmber 24, we will advance to the next round in the NBA in-season tournament.
Back to the game: I wasn't able to watch, but when I checked the boxscore, I feared an injury for Jaden. Such a crazy move by Green!!!! I always read "As a fan of his team you would love him because he stand up for his teammates" - such a bullsh*t!!! Cheering for your player or justifying him, risking potentially significant injuries on purpose like that, is simply unbelievable.
To close on a positive note: 7 games in a row... can't believe it!

AAAAAAAAAARRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I'm honest, I was waiting for this back to back with anxiety and I couldn't wait to resume the discussion with them given the latest discreets. I have only seen the extended hl obviously without knowing the result before! and I must say that when I saw that they got triple no-sense and the little boy (PodZ) was in a state of grace I thought we couldn't make it.....and no!!! Very tough match which made us discover that we have become a team and that we are able to suffer without giving up!

You can't imagine what I would give to give mike conley 10 years of youth...

I believe Towns has responded to the critics correctly in these latest matches? can't you find it!?

LEEEEEET'SSS GOOOOOOOOOO WOOOOOOLVEEEEEEESSS!

Did not watch this game.

My first question was: what I have missed? My first reaction after googling: dear Lord, please no injuries for McDaniels! My second reaction after googling: dear Lord, it must be suspension for Green! My third reaction after googling: are we playing ugly basketball?

My final thought before I go to work: yeah, baby! We play ugly basketball! And we are winning!

Ah, I forgot: play of the night obviously Gobert's block on Saric and Mike's following triple.

Gobert is showing us why he won that award several times: maybe the guy has settled in???

They didn't know Wolves lead NBA in defense, Towns scored 33 tonight, Wolves beated both BOS+DEN, Gobert is playing DPOY level. Were asking are Wolves better than Lakers? Those guys are just lazy these days. I hate watching them now.

LOL Charles flat out said we are not better than the Lakers and he doesn't believe the two big thing will work. He did acknowledge that he could be wrong though. He is a huge believer in Ant man though. Said Naz Reid is one of the most underrated players in the NBA and said he love Mike Conely. Called him Old Man River which is what he used to call Tim Duncan.

I've always liked Charles since Auburn but at times he's a total dolt! Idiot, you name it.

These guys mail it in sometimes and that's reality. Disappointing for sure.

Not yet. I don't expect much from them. It was an ugly win, and we didn't play very smart.

Not much except good win for mn. Chuck defended Rudy and said gs started the scuffle.

Kerr is such a tool … should be a politician because the guy can publicly lie without it bothering his conscience!! Then to top it off he’s railing on Gobert running down the court like a drunken brat… classless!

That game was totally on brand for the Wolves. A complete fugly mess. At least the ridiculous fallacy of the Wolves being able to "punish" teams offensively with its size can be forever put to bed. Thrilled they found a way to pull out a gutty win against something called Podziemski.

I have a lot of respect for Steve Kerr, but this is just … dishonest.

I get that he is trying to spin it to get Draymond’s upcoming suspension reduced, but the events will be thoroughly reviewed, so lying about them only makes him look bad. He was one of the coaches trying to get Draymond to stop choking Gobert, and then he says this?!? And Klay grabbed Jaden’s jersey at the neck in the box out, and refused to release it long after the play was over. Kerr is flat out lying.

Meh, he's the coach. It's his job to back his guys. Not to mention, it's possible at this point he was just mainly going by what his guys told him. He didn't say Draymond didn't choke Rudy, he said he did it to protect Klay.

With Steph out, it sounds that the Warriors may have been planning this even before the game started.

Also JimPete was on the floor before the game, and even talked about GSW starting something

One thing not to be overlooked is how might this affect Rudy's thought process if/when he watches the tape back. Yes, we see Ant and Kat trying to pull green off but nobody really attempted to do anything to quickly prevent the choke.

I understand that guys might be thinking about getting suspended which would be detrimental to the overall team success. However, in a situation like that, anywhere else it's almost guaranteed Green is getting choked, punched, etc to get him off. Rudy could potentially see the lack of aggression (support) and think guys don't truly have his back.

I don't believe it'll affect them but could be something to monitor if chemistry appears to go south.

Rudy Gobert literally refused to defend himself in the chokehold so he wouldn’t get ejected. He’s a grown man, if he is in his feelings about his teammates not taking Draymond Green’s bait, then he’s an idiot.

Fortunately, I am confident that he does not care and just wants to win basketball games.

I think the team looked off. Lost focus after Draymond’s action. The physical/chippy play of GS wasn’t matched. Rudy in particular looked out of sorts. I don’t think Ant lost focus as much as he didn’t handle GS sending two at him hard off any screen.

Have to give KAT so much credit. He kept us afloat and close enough to make a late run. Play, Ant and Rudy got it together for the fourth quarter. Rudy’s play on that Saric block was incredible. He walked off Paul from driving to the basket, kept him from passing to Looney under the basket, and still got out to the three pt line to block Saric. I thought he was moving poorly earlier in the game but that play was a DPOY type play.

I don't disagree at all. Just something to consider since we are dealing with humans with emotions. To be fair, he was being dragged and was at a clear disadvantage due to being caught off guard.

Gobert would be a pea brain if that is his thinking.

Klay started the jersey pull. Jaden got him back - they Texas two stepped around mid court but then…

Gobert head locked Klay (more of a pull him off from the neck region), BUT thug Green saw it as a head lock and in turn head locked Gobert. Towns and Edwards pulled on Green with Towns “head locking” Green (more of a pull off Gobert).

How far does the head-pull-lock train need to go? Should a GSW player head locked Towns to get off Green?

Gobert will be fine. Everyone played their tough guy role just right.

The team and Gobert was clearly rattled by the incident. I also give Gobert a lot of credit not getting himself rejected. I think that was what Green was going after. Finch should had called a timeout to calm things down. Maybe take Gobert out so he can relax first. Gobert did get back in DPOY form in the 4th qtr.

Great game by KAT.

This is EXACTLY why we need him. He’s the perfect #2 guy. When you have a #1 be your #2 you’re going to give teams fits. This is same guy that put up a 60 piece.

If healthy, this is THE championship team this season.

IMO Rudy showed amazing restraint, just letting Dray do this thing. Dray has to be suspended for a while. I'm guessing between 2-5 games.

Doctor’s assessment of the danger from Draymond’s choke.
