This was kind of expected.
Better for Finch to use this as a scrimmage game to see what will or won’t work later. Put some things on tape.

I don't even know why we play the starters for so many minutes. Just take them all out after you are down 20.

Sucks that it ended from a back to back, but the 7 game win streak was amazing and not how I expected the start of this season to go.

Let's get another streak going!

Perfectly fine with this. It's a long year, blowouts happen. Things are not always going to go well especially on a back to back against 2 top 10 players. Now we can rest and reset and get back to playing the type of basketball we are capable of.

As great as Ant has been started this season. You can see he still have a long way to go to reach Booker level

Hate that it ended like this but I am happy we didn't lose to those bench players on the Warriors or lose that tournament game. Would much rather drop this one. I hope we can snap back Saturday.

Great thing about winning 7 games in a row this early, you can afford to drop a few, let's just not make a habit of losing games.

I’m surprised how much I wanted to win the Warriors game, but how little I cared about losing to PHX. Or more likely, I didn’t care if it cost us the PHX game as long as we beat Draymond’s team after his choke. I didn’t want him to be rewarded with a win.

Oh well. Time to start another seven game win streak.

The weirdest feeling I haven't felt since becoming a Wolves fan; i was kinda down about the loss, then remembered that we are 9-3 even though it feels like we are like at 5-6 after this loss lmao, feels good to still see a winning record far away from being .500.

Hope we bounce back this weekend

Yea having this cushion is big. We are still 5 games above .500 which we have rarely ever been in recent years. I don't want to get back to .500 or below it but we got a nice cushion early on. Would love to get to 10 games over .500 and then even if we played .500 ball from there we would be in a damn good position to end the season.

Just watch the replay as too busy. We just run out of gas which is totally understandable. Just a bit worry about Ant. He is clearly not 100%, hope he was just tired or lightly sick. Get some rest and we come back strong next one.

I was hoping we'd have a better showing this game. But with it being the 2nd game of a road back to back and with the 2nd GSW game likely being such a drain on the team with all that happened but they pulled out the win in the end. Tbh I kind of expected a let down in this game and wasn't surprised by this outcome. Can't and won't win them all. Winning the 2nd in season tourney game, and beating GSW after that mess a the 2 minute mark in that game was more important big picture than this game. Now they need to minimize the Bourbon street activities, rest up and knock off the Pelicans in the Crescent City and start the next wining streak. Lets Go!

My only annoyance about tonight's match is the excessive amount of minutes given to the starters.
It was already clear at the end of the first half that the match was over. I don't understand why Towns and Edwards played 30 minutes.

expected loss. our schedule was brutal and last two wins required a lot of effort from both physical and mental perspective.
If you add that Ant has played last two game with illness...

Hopefully we now have 2 full days to rest/recover and then we'll face the Pelicans that will be in b2b (They play the Nuggets the night before). Winning with the Pelicans would mean to close our road trip with an impressive 4-1 record!

Also, don't forget that we have already the tie-breaker with the Warriors and in case of win vs Pelican we would be in a really good shape also vs them!

Lots of excuses … team can shoot well or shoot poorly, but this defensive effort was a lack of effort.

You made me wonder - who is the most likely to go James Harden on New Orleans? Do we have anyone on the team?

I was just trying to imagine what each guy does after a game

Conley rushes to call his family while the wife puts the kids to bed
KAT wants to get home and play video games.
Rudy wants to drink a veggie smoothie and get to sleep by 8:30 pm
Jaden sits alone in a corner, rocking, focused on how to defend the next guy.
SloMo is watching three hours of game tape.

Does Ant go out? He’s gregarious. Maybe Naz goes along to keep him out of trouble?
