I mean, I guess its a bit different for houses worth over a million, so fair enough there I guess, but I'd imagine its rarely a scenario where people need to worry about something like this.
I don't need to know Bob, who worked at Lowes owned the house before me, so long as it was taken care of an such, I wouldn't think too much about it. Plus, I don't know how it is in Canada, but in the US aren't they legally required to tell you if someone died or something? So some of that stuff is already taken care of to a degree.
This is Toronto, every house is at least $1 million.
I think the real estate agents should be required to disclose that to each other and if he had a real estate agent that was halfway decent and requested information that was withheld then he would have a good case for negating the sale in court.
