If we can stuff Fultz in a bag for the rest of the season? Book it.

I think so, too. He's a free throw merchant which will be critical.

Is Black a PG? Black does some amazing stuff and love his composure as a rookie.

I’m still trying to decide if he is in fact a PG.

Black is not a PG for us this year. When he dribbles the ball upcourt, he passes to Paolo or Franz. He rarely played in Pick and Rolls. He rarely use the dribble to attack the hoop. His job is not to be ball dominate but his biggest value is on defense. Right now, he is a 3&D player for us. He is not a PG!

Was he really a PG in college? Also, he isn’t a sure thing from 3. I’m hoping he can keep it at 30% but the law of averages may have different thoughts.

I rarely watched him when he was in College. So I do not know. But dude has length and size for a 1 guard. Plus he has the ability to attack the hoop, just not often, which is part of the game I want him to do more. Just use his offensive talent to make a impact cause we do need it from time to time

Length and size make you a PG?

Yes, modern day NBA, yes. It is not a requirement but definitely a big plus

Traditional days of defining Positions especially Point Guards have now changed. For instance, positionless basketball. But what defines PG? I can say 30 head coaches in the league probably have 30 different definitions and philosophies about Point Guard. Is it Jerry Sloan's Pick and Roll offense in Utah? Is it Mike D'Antoni's offense in Phoenix and Houston? Is it Phil Jackson's offense in Chicago and LA? Or Steve Kerr's offense with Stephen Curry? The game changes and certainly PG position changes

Orlando needs elite shooting and the ability to create their own shots. Above average playmaker

Right now with what they’re currently asking him to do? No.

As he gets more comfortable he needs to be on the basketball more.

You're gonna hate on every mistake because you didn't like him as a prospect.

Subconscious support of Fultz…ironic that it’s free throws

He'd have to change his mindset for this to happen, he won't get a 20 points game if he only shoots when he gets a pass in the corner and is wide open or when he gets a layup right at the basket.

Black only attemped 3 shots whole season that weren't layups or 3s

Anthony Black is a PG in the mold of Shaun Livingston. Disruptive defensively, but calm presence on offense. That much I got from what limited time I've had to watch him play.
