I’d like Tyus Jones in Lowry’s role and Caruso in J-Rich’s

I do not see a need for an expensive point guard. Get a quality veteran point.

Lowry Duncan Jovic and 2-3 1sts landing you either Kawhi or PG?!

Who knows.

Those 2 guys would still fetch way more than that unfortunately. Lowry + Duncan, together is nothing positive for any team outside of clearing cap space with Lowry, Plus Duncan offsets any positive that they get clearing Lowry. attaching all our draft picks plus Jovic gets you in the door to start conversations, theyll want JJJ without a doubt. They will probably ask for Lowry, Caleb, JJJ, Jovic 3 First to start negotiations. Premier star Wings hold more value than small guards, if you thought we were barely squeeking by trying to get Dame, we sure would get outbid by the likes of NY with 100 draft picks.

Guessing y’all saw Dame tonight and what he did with the ball primarily in his hands as opposed to playing off ball as a decoy lol? That would’ve been his role here

I'm not sure how much of an upgrade he is over Herro.

But perhaps a trade like this could work:

Miami gets: Lavine, Caruso, and Olynyk

Chicago gets: Lowry, Clarkson, Sexton, Martin, 1 pick swap with Miami, 1 pick swap with Utah

Utah gets: Herro and Coby White

Miami

Bam - Bryant
Love - Olynyk
Butler - Jaquez
Lavine - Robinson - Highsmith
Caruso - Richardson

I'll just post a quote of mine from 6 months ago.
I wouldn't move Herro for LaVine, they're basically the same type of player to me, Beal also is also that type of player but more proven. If Miami can get Beal who has shown the ability to be the #1 and drop ~30 per game and is more experienced, that type of trade would really take the pressure off Butler and Bam in the playoffs.

The point of any trades should be about strengthening the roster for a playoff run. If you can get unproven offensive talent for cheap go for it but currently this team needs a proven playoff scoring talent.

Lavine for Herro is a lateral move at best. Lavine for Herro + more makes us worse.

Should be exploring ways to swap Lowry+ Jovic for Derozan+ Coby White/Caruso

Hell to the no. Herro will give us the same minus dunks, younger cheaper, and maybe another gear to hit. Most importantly homegrown developed through the Heat system, not someone tainted by teams that allowed him to squeak by with no defense.

Do we know why Thomas Bryant has fallen out of rotation? Is he injured, did he piss of Spo, or is Spo throwing those minutes at Love for a bit?

The numbers. Spo plays a 9 man rotation. He will change throughout the season. Spo is experimenting with lineups

Tyus might be a very realistic get. Tyus, Wright, and Gallo for Lowry and Jovic works as a checker match
