Game 12: Bucks at Hornets - 11/17/23 - 6:00 - BSWI - Giannis Probable, MarJon Questionable

Front end of our third B2B.

Tournament game.

Giannis questionable. I'd sit him so he can play against Dallas Saturday. But who knows, maybe he misses both.

Khris has sat out the first game of the previous B2B's. There is probably some pressure from Silver to play anyone you can so maybe he plays this one and sits Saturday. Like Giannis, I'd rather he played Saturday. Dallas is much better (and I'm going to the game).

Dame seems ok with his calf but who knows, maybe he sits one of these.

I'm guessing MJB sits.

If Beasley doesn't light it up in this one (and the remaining 71 games), there will be hell to pay on this board.

Go Bucks.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'm more concerned about what Beasley is doing on the defensive end. Though if he lights it up it's easier to forgive defensive lapses.

Given that I paid a boatload of money for tickets Saturday, I would make that choice as well. :D

If the NBA truly gave a **** at all about players playing as much as possible they would **** off with all these back to backs. It's so frustrating knowing ahead of time that we're going to get an inferior product simply because they won't meet the players halfway on scheduling.

As long as one of Giannis or Dame is playing, this should be a comfortable win. However, it would be good to use this game to have them both together to work things out in a less-pressure game than against someone like Dallas.

Go Bucks.

We could probably still beat the Hornets with Giannis, I would sit Giannis in the tougher game vs Dallas.

Paying a boatload of money to see the Milwaukee Bucks on the 2nd night of a B2B, you my friend have no fear....lol.

Although one advantage of Griffin over Bud is that there is probably less of a chance these days that you find out an hour before tip off that you actually ended up paying a boatload of money to see the Thanasis & Lindell Wigginton show.

Those Bud load management lineups were hilarious.

He once started Bonzi Collson and DJ Wilson and played them 45 and 47 minutes, respectively.

Edited to add - while that was the last game of the regular season, he had another gem from March 2021 with a starting lineup of TA, Nwora, Brook, Merrill, Toupane. TA played 37 minutes.

They will most likely play as few good players as possible to save resources for Dallas, knowing that Charlotte is the easier game. No guarantee this works but we have seen them do this many times.

On that note, ive got extra tickets for Dallas. Sec 227, row 2. Market rate is 80, ill go 75 each. DM me if interested.

That is, without a doubt, the most insane & hilarious starting lineup

Dare I say I welcome Giannis sitting? We need them integrated long-term, and sooner than later - no doubt. But maybe Dame cooking for a few games could help get him back in a groove and feeling his other teammates out a little better.

For Adam's benefit, I hope Giannis plays Saturday though :D

They sat Jrue, Midds, DDV, and GA. Portis and Tucker were inactive due to injuries. Pat was first guy off the bench. Teague hadn’t even been signed yet. Diakite got 23 minutes off the bench.

It was a Saturday night home game.

Was nascent research at the time of those debates but there's been so much since then. Google "hot hand fallacy".

My only question is why does having a hot hand feel so good

Wait, Bridges is returning for this game?

MUST. WIN.

And maybe let Bobby deck him in the face.

If you really want the in-season tournament to matter you can't have tournament games as part of a b2b, especially the front end of a road/home b2b.

It's a tournament game then a regular season game. So is it really a back to back? 2 different competitions obviously, even though 1 still counts to the regular competition. Maybe it's like a back to half back to back?

They both count towards regular season.
