Randle's Ast% as a knick is 21.9%, he produces very well out of double teams, and since Brunson arrived his time on the ball has fallen sharply...passing is a weird thing to criticize him for.

And if he had a team-mate like Jokic to carry the offensive burden, he'd probably have more energy to devote to defending :dontknow:

This thread is about Randle and not the Knicks which should be easy to see from the title and my opening post so stop trying to play the victim. I actually like the Knicks. It's the lazy, empty stats players with character issues that I dislike and Randle fits the description perfectly. The fact that this thread got bumped after a small stretch of mediocre play from Randle just goes to show how low the standards are for this guy, a 2-time all nba player btw.

This post is also peak irony, bumping the thread with a 5 game stretch to complain about using a small sample size to criticize Randle throughout his 6 game long slow start, especially when I specifically mentioned that while his numbers will improve, his character and effort won't.

Since we have a bigger sample size now, this is Randle after 15 games

19.1 ppg, 9.9 rpg, 5.4 apg on 38/28/68, .476ts%

I dunno why some people have such a hard time admitting they were wrong about Randle, but he's gotta be one of the most under-rated players in the NBA. If you listened to his detractors, you'd think he was the worst player in the history of basketball :lol:

we know him in this context, as a #1 or even #2 he's pretty crappy. BTW, he is, he's one of the worst players in the history of playoff basketball
