So we have:

@Bulls (2nd night of back to back for them)
@Bulls
@Cavs

Take care of business against the bulls on their 2nd night, then beat them again because we’re flat out better and they’re already imploding. Hell, work out a Caruso trade while were in CHicago. Then go to Cleveland and beat future Heatle Mitchell and this underwhelming Cavs team.

That’ll put us at 10 straight.

Get him in a Heat jersey

Yes please.

Defensively I think all this team is missing is an elite point of attack defender at the guard position so he definitely fills that need. Solid 3 point shooter too

About the Bulls…LaVine style of play and being a Klutch agent makes him a no go, but maybe DeRozan would be a nice add? He’s on an expiring contract. Would want Caruso as well.

Went from a one dimensional spacer with an unreliable shot to a multidimensional player who’s putting defenses on skates.

Unless there’s a monster offer on the table, Duncan’s fit is too perfect to trade.

I don't see us trading Lowry for his best friend DeRozan. If anything it's more likely Lowry finishes his career with DeRozan in Chicago.

I don't even see any reasonable trade matches for them anyway or it making sense from an organizational prospective other then Caruso but he only makes 9 million and Lowry makes close to 30. Unless your trading renaissance man Duncan with Jovic for Caruso and Williams but at this point that's probably not happening either. More then likely both Caruso and LaVine end up in LA.

If we are trading Lowry like I mentioned in previous post it's going to be for upgraded players on similar expiring contracts that teams know they won't be resigning so they'll take a Jovic as an attachment or pick with Lowry. We are not going into tax hell taking on long term contracts for Lowry's expiring.

Martin, Jovic, and a conditional pick for Caruso would seemingly work

That feels like an overpay. We highly value Martin and if we are going for it this year they are going to want a proven playoff performer like Martin still on the roster.

Ugh... I get what you're saying but Miami has Jaquez Jr to eat up his minutes and also has Cain waiting for his shot to be a possibly a good rotation guy off the bench and if need be, Highsmith can play wing minutes also. Give me that disruptor at the guard position. I absolutely want to see a Caruso, Richardson, Butler, Highsmith and Bam lineup in the playoffs, the smallest guy would be 6'5''.

I'd love to see Miami add a big bodied rim protector to be Bam's backup in the playoffs to go along with Love or Bryant.

I am confuse why we are giving up assets to trade Martin for Caruso or entertaining trading for Caruso when the Heat have too many players at his position anyways. There are not enough minutes to play all the players they have even when Martin and Herro out.

With Caleb having the player option for next year and expecting him to get at least the MLE (13 mil) at the minimum (and it's probably his last chance to get good money with good years) with him more proven now, adding a really good player who's under contract next year for just under 10 mil a year who can play PG is a good move.

Tyler has played well but I still think he plays better as a sixth man on this team.

And it really isn’t him. It’s that Jimmy gets too passive when they play together. We need to stagger those minutes as much as possible.

Caruso is a Pg, we have no PGs. You’re trading an expiring contract you’re not keeping for a player who fits the culture AND one of our biggest needs while getting rid of a player that is adding to an already massive logjam in our wing rotation.

Caruso also has another season left on his contract.

If we want to improve the roster we’re going to have to get rid of guys and to win a championship we’re going to have to improve the roster. It’s really that simple, everyone can’t be untouchable all the time.

Take out JJJ and add Caleb and a 1st while adding Caruso on there said and this is a no brainer. Sorry fellas, we need another high level 3 level scorer on this team and we need an elite defender at the guard position who can also knock down 3s. I don’t get the Lavine hate as he’s a good all star level guy, this move would be great for this team, you keep Herro too and now we have 4 guys that can go for 30 on any given night but do it on different ways in most cases.

Love Martin but it seems obvious that he’s headed for a Strus/ Vincent fate in the offseason. Need to move him now.

Also, Highsmith makes Martin expendable.

Team is a guard away from being special.

Caruso isn’t a star type player but his fit on this team is nearly ideal.

Jimmys passive because it’s the regular season and he also didn’t have a preseason. This will be nothing when the playoffs get here
