Young team still have to find 2nd gear.
Veteran teams usually just pace the 1st half and turn it on the 2nd half

You play a bunch of 19, 21, and 22 year olds. That's how.![]()
Remember when we lost to Houston in game 1 of the finals?
Teams start playing harder defense against the magic I. The second half .

This is pretty much what I've noticed, this along with simply packing the paint and daring us to beat then by the 3
Our offense & defense really feed off of each other, poor offensive possessions lead to more transition opportunities, disorganization, & more energy expended on offense, and less to use on defense

Wow that's an insane split, I've never seen that before in all my years watching NBA. A representation of who we are though, a young feisty team with talent but lacking veteran experience along with structural deficiencies that need to be addressed next summer by the front office. That formula leads to around a .500 record.

I have to admit there's something very appealing about consolidating Fultz, Isaac, and Okeke into an established quality starter/borderline all-star.thelead wrote:This super young team is 6-5 through 11 games and half this board is ready to trade everyone

I mean, sure, you want to trade non-core pieces and picks for a star? sounds good... but we have people bitching about Poalo, bitching about Franz, bitching about Suggs, bitching about AB... and yet, we're 6-5 with said 22, 21, 22, and 19 year olds.

Black will be the whipping boy. Basically any guard who can't shoot is going to be a whipping boyKillMonger wrote:eyriq wrote:?t=Eh3t7D26eTymseTaa1kpNw&s=19
If he doesn't play i wonder who orlando magic twitter/X fans will blame this time...Suggs seems to be their scapegoat

If he's out, Harris gets the bump into the starting lineup and one of Okeke, Houstan, or Jett get the bump into the rotation. We need SuggsRichCollab wrote:Hope Jalen plays. It helps some Harris is back so if Suggs needs a game off I’m fine with that since he leaves all out on the court when he plays.
