Beating the Raps Is Always In Season! Tournament Victory Cigar vs TOR 11/17

Post#1 » by bisme37 » Sat Nov 18, 2023 2:45 am

Dang you guys that was a nail biter! But we got out of Canadia with a win! BECAUSE WE TOO GOOD!!

I'm not prepared to say anything intelligent right now lol! Celtics had a fight on their hands but stayed tough and composed down the stretch. Good game from JB, KP, Jrue, Al, and Sam! And we sealed the win with a huge 3 from Derrick!

Celts improve to 10-2 on the season and 2-0 in Tournament group play.

Grizzlies Sunday, Go C's!

JB for the VC.

White or Jrue for the CP.

Team win for me. Everybody played well, no one really stood out. Well, maybe Jrue.

I don't know about you guys but to me Porzingis is just a slightly shorter, less charismatic Tacko Fall.

Great win.

That court a joke.

Tatum was shooting like Andre Roberson.

Voting these two...

...for top two scapegoats this season. Kornet for runner-up.

Good finish! Ugly 3rd. Still some stuff to clean up but nice to know we can win close games with consistency now.

Jaylen for picking up the scoring and Porzingis for blocking everything.

I'd say team win, but Tatum wasn't really part of that tonight. JB and White or Holiday.

JT, you stunk. You owe us a 10/10 from 3 game. That was some ugly shooting, dude!

Last season the Cs would've lost this game.

Cs down 2 with 1 minute remaining and Joe went to KP in the post for a score to tie the game.

Last season the Cs just didn't have that low post threat when the outside shooting was not working.

Not the case this season.

Seems like Boston always struggles in Toronto. I don't think Toronto is good but I have to give them credit for playing hard and for a little while Boston looked overwhelmed.

Regardless I'll take any when I can get.

I thought the players and Joe should have been more vocal about the floor slips. It was going on all game, you just knew something bad could happen.

JB made big shots down the stretch.

JT was awful shooting the 3 in this game.

Nothing they’ll do about that court until the IST is over either. I was actually liking the idea so far but can’t come at the cost of player health. Do better Adam Silver.

Also, we can't just say they would've lost X game last season after every single close game lol. That team won 70% of their games.
