Setting it back would be building your team around him as a number one player and realizing when it’s too late that you made the wrong choice…

Glad you already know this after 12 games into his second season. Lol.

From a pure ball handling perspective, yes.

But he only exacerbates a lot of other problems.

Damn it guys… Stop wishing upon a star… He is Malcom Brogdon… A ROY winner that isn’t a star… He’s a very high quality role player, maybe borderline all-star, but NOT someone you showcase as your franchise savior…

Chew their ass out, this isn’t rec league basketball—you’re being our coached and your team isn’t prepared…

Dictator coaches are very 1970s and you do know the big leads they built can be attributed to the coach too, right? You think he just tells them to eat **** for the next 24 mins?

They are playing great defense and carrying the offense on a 7-5 team

I agree but we really need their consistency to be great. Paolo has played some great games but also has had his share of poor games as well. Same thing with Franz. Even within this game Paolo played well in the first half but was horrible in the second half. He was turning the ball over like crazy. I am not worried they are young and will get better but they need to be more consistently.

I was really hyped about Paolo's Point forward skills but games like this makes me wonder if might be better off off the ball with a playmaking guard. At times he really did struggle one on one.
For sure. If they make the leap offensively we are contenders

He can’t create for himself with the ball in his hands and he’s horrible in the post… Perfect franchise player!

Pacers is going to be a HUGE test for us. I really hope Suggs and Fultz both return. We need to slow down Tyrese Haliburton, who is leading the league in assists. Dude is playing like the best PG in the league right now

So...

Fultz, Harris, Okeke, 2024 Orlando 1st Lotto Protected, 2025 Denver 1st for LaVine?

Sign McClung with the open roster spot.

First time poster here, been reading the boards for years now. Love that we got the win, a W is always good. But man, why does the same thing continue to happen in second half’s, it’s like we forget to play. We know that we need shooters and spacing to maximize Franz and Paolo, but can we please get coach a good offensive assistant or something. Don’t get me wrong, I love what Mosley has done with these young men and the energy they bring but damn, sometimes you wish for a little more. Also, he should have let JI in, moment he came out that lead went bye bye. Anyways, I enjoy all your guys opinions and insight through the years, glad to be on here now.

I approve of keeping JI out of it, as crazy as that seems given his injury history.

Magic 5-0 when holding their opponent under 100 points.

Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

Some games Paolo looks fluid and quick, other games he looks like he labors just to get around a guy and throws up clunkers. The crazy thing is that even during his rookie year, you'd think he's having a bad game and he'd still have like 20 points or a lot of rebs and assists. The raw talent is there.

We need to hold Indiana under 100 and get Franz 18 shots. Easy
