How about Hot Rod Hundley? “With a gentle push and a mild arc, the cowhide globe hits home!”

PBP is Marv by miles. His voice just had that gravitas and he captured the rhythm of the game like nobody else. The guy you want calling a big game.

Color is either Doug Collins or JVG. Color is less about what you say and more about energy and delivery. Doug had that in spades and JVG a little less so, but he was a genuinely good analyst and a sheer force of personality.

Marv Albert is the voice I hear when I think back to the NBA I fell in love with. I also love Mike Breen. I can't imagine an NBA Finals without him. He makes a game feel that much more special.
