This take..... Sheesh.... Almost ready to call a rookie a bust less than 20 games into his career.....guess people forgot that most rookies don't hit right away they take time to develop.... When we drafted Redick and he wasn't playing I knew it was for a reason.... When he improved his game his number was called eventually.... Just be patient, we got time

Great win, pathetic ending. Almost all of them shouldn’t be in the NBA.

Jett Howard looked Terrible but then again he gets NO minutes for NBA experience! Anyone remember opening night, he looked decent! He needs more game experience.

I don't know. I think this exposes a weakness. Teams will let us get up for a blow out. Then have us play scrubs and make the comeback.

Lol JK our rotation dominated

Lull us to sleep, then BAM

Teams are 30pts down : ok boys we got the Magic just where we want them.

Just grow a pair and spine and finish the job tonight in a respectable manner.

P.S. Cut off all the whining PLEASE about "Jett, Jett", "AB over Fultz" and "Houston buried". It's just silly, there's a good reason those guys are not in the rotation when all bodies are healthy. They need time to develop and gain some experience and self-esteem. Just not there yet.

I agree to certain extent but I think the magic can be better with someone besides Fultz.

Also true. Given the fact that we have a season where the Magic organization is after getting wins in any way possible, Fultz will always be higher (when healthy and until he's traded away) in the pecking order over Anthony Black. Just the reality in the NBA - veterans over rookies, experience over youth when success on a regular basis is required.

Nothing surprising or wrong about it, just the cold reality of the NBA and not the ungrounded wishful RealGM board thinking and childish whining.

I love AB and have high hopes for him, but let's be honest here - he ain't contributing much besides bringing the ball up the court (slowly) after made basket, distributing it to P5 or Franz to take over. He makes an occasional backdoor cut for an easy basket which is the result of his court awareness but mainly a product of the good passing and rotations of the starters.

And he plays solid D with some block or a steal here and there. Not much else in terms of pick n roll, consistent scoring, shooting, driving, dishing or eliminating his personal defender...you know stuff like that those elite guards do.

AB is Young and will learn, let's just not pretend he's something else than an unexperienced and raw rookie that has a long way in front of him.

I remember Haliburton doing a lot of talking last year

He was -30 with 3 assists and 4 to's. That block by AB was pretty humiliating, too.

some nice answers after this game:

-defense is real and it is a top 5 right now, plain and simple.will it be in the future?we don't know but it is seems a very solid point where to start to build our season.

-our bench is good, sure now it is probably even too good and they will have worse stretches, but still it is definitely a competent bench for an aspiring 50% team.

-team plays with great effort always and with altruism sharing the ball large majority of times;another good point as a foundation for a season

-we got answers about rookies: Black doing what he does cause it is the role we need but especially cause it is the role he can suits him in nba right now.the other one,well...Mosley he's not a fool,in general and if he plays Houstan, let's say there is a clear reason.

Would be nice to get the Toronto game next. B2B against Denver the next night feels like a schedule loss.

Comon, DEN is losing to Cleveland by 20 right now.

With our dominate defense, anything could happen! But I am not too optimistic either, 8-)

Fultz and WCJ are probably screaming at the doctors to let them play right away as they are seeing their place in the rotation slowly fading away...

Utah, Milwaukee and now Indiana - this team (particularly tonight’s rotation) has really clicked at times for our best performances. These are the good times we have to remember we’re trying to sustain on the nights things look rough.
