Jordan Poole during the Wizards current 5 game losing streak: 13/3/4 on 43.5% TS with a -24.1 net rating lmao. Even as someone who thought he wasn’t good I didn’t think it’d be this bad.

There were at least a couple people who suggested Jrue or Midds for Poole and making Poole the lead guard to run the offense through.

Then again, there were also people who were livid the Bucks didn’t cash in their 2029 first for Sexton and laughed at those of us who said to wait for a bigger fish to use that pick on.

Should be 120-104 but our D... we've only let one team this year score under 100 (hornets). Maybe we are trending the right direction and this is the day we only allow 104!

These lopsided-on-paper games are a good test of player buy-in. Having things to figure out may relieve the tedium of the regular season and give them more of a sense of purpose than, for example, Boston had last night when they squeaked out a 2-point victory over the Grizzlies, who had eight on the injury list.

Energy & effort, not ennui & ho-humitude. 130-114.

As disappointing as it would be to lose this game, this would be the best game to lose over the next 6-8 games.

Would rather beat Boston, Miami, Chicago 2x, and can't stand Trae so I really want to beat them. If we are going to lose to Washington, better today than Friday so we can still win the in-season tournament for what it's worth.

Honestly, I am not too big on the in-season tournament but it would be cool to win the in-season tournament and NBA title in the same year.

Sucks Marjon is injured but glad it overlaps with Jae out and Midds limited. Forces us to play AJax. I haven't been this irrationally excited about a 22 year old rookie since Thon's 3 point out burst where he made multiple within a 10 second span.
