Is anyone else concerned about him? Just seems odd to me that a guy who's drafted by a team in the lottery who desperately needs shooting drafts a guy who's supposedly a great shooter and he can't even crack the rotation.

Exactly what they needed to do. He doesn't need to be sitting on the bench not playing. Get him some reps in Osceola.

He must have not showed it in practice. He's been behind Houstan and Chuma on the depth chart.

He looks lost out there. He needs the rep just to get a feel for the game against better competition than he's used to in college. The game is probably just moving too fast for him IMO. Let him get some reps in the G-League and bring him back up when needed.

not concerned at all....just not ready yet....some rooks take more time....don't know if people remember when JJ was drafted(11th overall), it was similar.....difference is we didn't have a resource like a g-league team at the time so JJ was just stapled to the bench but eventually he came around it just took more time....this will help Jett get his reps

Concerned? 12 games into the season and I think he played like in 3 or 4 in garbage time minutes. No, he needs playing time. This team is deep, Black and Goga couldn't crack the rotation until Markelle and Wendell got injured and they are playing pretty well because they are getting minutes Caleb needs minutes as well.

To be honest, I want to watch him play with the Osceola Magic.

Nope, unless he was otherworldly, if we drafted a SG, this was probably the case no matter who. At least for the beginning of the season. Others are a head of him in defensive awareness. Suggs, Harris, Ingles, Houstan. Let's see what happens after the trade deadline.

I Do think he'll be up soon, just getting some burn and staying active.

He just turned 20 years old and has played all of 23 minutes total. All of them in garbage time. I'm not concerned in the slightest.

He was a reach in the lottery. He is an early odds favorite to be one of the inevitable lotto busts.

I want to see Jett become a 40% 3-pt shooter in the G-league before we talk about him being a 40% shooter in the NBA.

I remember Hezonja was a shooter who couldn't shoot. He had the prettiest shot, and it just didn't go in at a high rate.

We probably should've sent Hezonja to the G-league.
