Is there a linchpin to that defense? Is it Isaac? I haven't been following much of the league, but seeing this is surprising.

Yeah, Isaac has been insane but a lot of Suggs and team defense tbh. Goga has held it down but even with WCJ we were pretty solid.

Yup agred with a younger Starter level guard/wing for Siakam. Any player playing another position other than the 4 with All-Star level upside would make me happy.

Fred and Sengun have really good chemistry. Say what you want about the guy, but he plays well with his bigs

the league is so **** stacked.

everyone is posting monster stats line.

Shia 28 points on 13 shots only 1 of which is a 3, perfect 7 for 7 from the line.

Yup, Sengun continues to look like he's going to be the second best player behind Barnes from that draft class.

Man the big men are coming back in a big way. They will run this league for the next decade.

I like Houston’s team they will be in the playoff hunt for sure. Udoka can coach
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Yea and Isaac would let the leaque in defensive rating by a mile if he played a few more minutes to be qualified.

Houston is playing some really great ball. Sengun, Fred and Brooks all had really strong games yday took a heroic effort from Bron to pull it out (year 21 doing this is nuts).

Jalen Green man I just don't see it tho. Shooting the 3 well this year at 37% but that's all he does. Dreadful playmaker, worst defender, and is only hitting 40% of his 2s. I always thought him over Mobley was nuts at the time and looking back it feels even worst now. He got lots of Lavine comparisons but by year 3 Lavine was already a 57+ TS% guy and ignoring his posr ACL tear had been 56+ ever since. He really needs to start showing something or I think his ceiling might just be a 6th man.

He was drafted after Mitchell and Murray went back and forth having that epic playoff series. That 6'4 scoring guard was en vogue then and he fit the archetype. Any other year and he doesn't get near the hype.

If both the Hawks and Warriors continue being mediocre until the deadline it might open up a bidding war with Siakam (if Masai even looks to trade him). Obviously want the Warriors package for Kuminga. But either way we could get something of value for him.

[Charania] The Kings are expected to be very aggressive leading up to February’s trade deadline to potentially add a star-level player: "They’re going to be involved in every star player. Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, maybe Zach LaVine.”

So you’re telling me:

- team hovering around .500
- spamming pnr with your starting C and he’s eating
- high draft pick wings underperforming in your presence

Sounds hella familiar

Their defense is very good. They hack a bit too much and ultimately thatll hurt but the overall play is very impressive. Vs the lakers they were helped vy the fact that la kept missing 3 after 3. Despite being more talented (top level) the lakers offense i feel is very similar to the raptors. Not easy on the eyes

No idea why he wasn't drafted sooner either. All the analysts were on top of it. Saying he was probably the most intriguing prospect in the draft.
