I think I'm finally all the way out on Jaylen.

Holiday was terrible and the only two people that really brought it tonight was PP and Tatum.

Like I said in the game thread Brown might have the worst contract in the NBA and I can't wait until he's moved next year.

Who on earth would take that contract? He's a pure scorer with no playmaking, passing or dribbling ability.

A pure scorer averaging 21 points a game on below league average efficiency.

Peak Brown was a few years ago when he was a 3 and D guy who would occasionally drive to the hoops if he had a small defender on him. His ego seems to have grown to the point now where I don't think he can be that anymore.

Tatum was 8-10 from the line tonight.

It's his last year on the Celtics so we just have another 7 months of him.

Super wishful thinking. We’re one plant pot accident away from that contract being a true albatross.

There will be a solid market for him. Save injury.

I don’t love Joe but I refuse to lose another coach under Brown. I refuse to get rid of more players to appease Brown’s ego. Definition of insanity.

Unless Brown demands out he ain't going anywhere any time soon.

Upper management held on to Smart about 4 years too long.

They don't just willy nilly trade their core players.

Can't afford him. And Brad knows what Jaylen is by now.

Also he might ask out by the summer.

How do we make Jaylen demand out? Should we start sending him mean DMs?

I don't want to hear that we only lost 3 games or that it happens or any other consoling thoughts right now! THIS IS TIME I WILL NEVER GET BACK!!! I'm no longer in the rah rah club, I was broken last season! I'm in the happiness but pissy piss club! Whatever the wind blows, I'm with the "ships!" JB and Jrue peed in the wind and now I'm peed off!

Spoiler:
I'll be fine tomorrow, still can't focus on holding a grudge for too long.

Hayward god level bball iq had him baffled

Tatum was lazy offensively after halftime too.

Didn’t look very switched on or energetic.

Played lazy on both ends as a result.

Offensively he was scoring with ease early by attacking downhill. After halftime he was just jacking contested jumpers

Okay I'm rewatching the fourth and now I see more **** from Joe than I did while I was focused on Jrue and Jaylen.

Not a great night all around. I thought we lost the game when Brown decided to call his number twice with 1:30 left.

My biggest second guess is when Joe pulled the bench unit because at the time I thought they were playing really well and with energy.

I don’t think it’s an ego thing. He’s been giving the ball up.

His jumper just seems completely out of sorts this season.

His efficiency right now is propped up by his performances in the blowout wins.

Something is going on with him. He looked sloppy and lazy for the first time yesterday. Hope he's get his personal stuff sorted so he can return soon.

White has a newborn child, his 2nd. Going to be many sleepless nights, for awhile.

The game was lost at the free throw line. Twice.

What lol

He took ten threes in the first half, and four in the second. The second half was much more of him off the dribble and at the rim, he just missed a few easy looks.

Hornets also trapped him on most PnR’s in the second half.

Too Many 3's on a 32% Night (16-50).

Not Enough 2's on a 55% Night (26-57). Should have shot a higher percentage of two's. No thinking by these players or coaching staff. Spoelstra would have won this game by alerting them to what they should have already known.

18-28 Free Throws (64% is Putrid for an NBA Team). Porzingis (6-10) and Holiday (0-2) didn't help.

That, my friends, sums it all up. 1 more Free Throw, or a coach to say shoot inside the line (Hauser was 1-9, it was not his night, and he didn't need to miss 8 to know that). Blame the coaching, and Hauser, for lack of paying attention to the immediate. Porzingis was 1-8 from 3 and 4-6 from 2, so he should have known (or been told by coaches) to work inside the line TONIGHT.

Like I said, Spoelstra would have won this game.

Part of me was glad Tatum missed. Going double OT to beat this garbage ass team and potentially risking losing somebody would be wild. We almost lost Brown in the Raptors game, game that should have been over by the 3rd quarter..but for some odd reason our big leads keep disappearing. Strange. :noway:
