Boston’s success has been due to Porzingis.

That said, I don’t like dissing Jrue. Guy was a warrior here. And a champ. We just needed him to do more than he was capable of.

Love it, although Jrue deserves better.

He should tank his value so we can get him back for cheap.

I just know he is going to go off Wednesday though.

He could easily go off Wednesday as it is the regular season and not the playoffs.

Jrue’s a champ. He’ll figure it out.

Yeah, Boston's fortunes this season ride a ton on KP. If I was a Celtics fan I would be terrified.

Missed games by season for him starting with last season and going back:

Wish he would have used his champ figure it out powers to even slow Jimmy down a little or not go 4-20 from the field…

Love Jrue but Celtics fans finding out he isn't Chris Paul is hilarious.

It was only a matter of time. Can't wait until he lets them down in the playoffs.

The Celtics losing Smart, Grant Williams, and Timelord makes them so much of a better matchup for us. They have nothing to slow Giannis anymore other than ancient Horford and his body and hand checks they refuse to call.

I think media assumes they are better with Jrue and Porzingis but I’m not so sure in the Bucks matchup they are better off. Plus now Bucks have a top closer in the league.

I love jrue and I will always love jrue.

Bucks needed him to be Dame too often and that he is not and never was.

I hope he succeeds on another team soon, not in the east.

I only watched OT of the Boston game since it was on at the same time as the Bucks game and didn't realize how much the C's choked it away. They led by 9 with 2 minutes left in regulation and Jrue missed 2 FT's that would've salted the game away. The Celtics had a bunch of bad losses last year, I think they had 6 losses where they were double digit favorites so its not new for them. And they've played well at the end of some games, against Memphis, the furious comeback that came up just short against Philly, but in addition to last night was their abominable late game performance against Minnesota. It still seems like in the most tense moments its Brown or Tatum holding the ball for 16 seconds and then putting up a contested 3 or midrange.

This is so accurate. Especially with Khash injured.

The really frustrating thing was he WAS Dame down the stretch of a lot of games in the regular season last year. He was a killer. But the playoffs is a completely different animal.

They had a month of Bill Simmons podcasts telling them as such, so understandable the disconnect

They didn’t have White last night. That guy is their glue guy extraordinaire. Would kill to have that guy on the Bucks.

Yup. We should’ve grabbed Craig Porter Jr undrafted this year

Bill was basically saying Jrue was CP3 on offense and prime Gary Payton on defense. Despite Jrue having just looked like Playoff Bledsoe on offense and Prime Beasley on defense against the Heat. Like completely ignoring everything except Jrue’s prior regular season stats on offense and his defensive reputation.

A lot of people are also ignoring that elite perimeter defenders don’t age all that well. Payton’s age 33-34 season he was no longer elite (it’s the year he’s traded to the Bucks) and he fell off a cliff after that. This is Jrue’s age 33-34 season. He will be opting out after this season and requiring a max contract that will make him more highly paid than Dame.

Love it. Bucks utterly blow out Charlotte, then Beantown blows it in OT.

Celts still have a Brown/Tatum, your turn/my turn issue at the end of games. Neither pass in those scenarios. Brown killed them late by taking a couple of not ideal shots when a pass to someone else was open.
