Celtics currently have the best record in the NBA and just lost in a close one on the second night of a back to back.

So mediocre

You should suck Joe a little harder I don’t think he's feeling it enough yet..

Ah homophobic comments. How childish.

I’m not even a Mazzulla fan but your whining about a team that is 11-3 is comical.

Cry harder

Spoiler:
Joe is also crying because you keep using teeth on this blowing.

I’m not crying about an 11-3. Im AGAIN warning you about a coach who lost us a championship last year pressing the same buttons this year and some idiots are too busy slobbing him to see it. But sure sure..

Warn us without the homophobia and vulgar phrases. It’s a heated thread but no need for this- Shackles10

I’m just saying random **** happens in the NBA.

There’s 82 games.

Our last title team didn’t play 82 perfect games.

It has never been about losing,, It;s about the manner of the way we lose games.. Big difference

This has been an issue for much longer than Joe though. Anyone gonna point to our stars that they struggle to close games? Brown has zero awareness. And Tatum not sure has the killer instinct. Was hoping Jrue could help fix this.

Can't push the panic button. Need to get better playing together. Improve from this mini slump they are in.

Out of sorts? Tatum missed a bunny. And Jrue missed 2 FTs. Brown also missed 2 shots but it wasn't terrible looks

You're proving my point. Easy shots that should be made are being missed. The team was mentally overwhelmed by the moment and needed a reset.

Good thing it’s November.

Plenty of time to improve closing out games

while the bold is true, I still think my question is a valid one.. "what exactly is Joe good at"?? whether it's strategic or motivational, I don't see either..

We did. But he thinks Joe was hired last month. Acting like dude didn’t get put through the spin cycle by every coach in the playoffs. Lol

Um this is a different team?

Are you forgetting that Porzingis and Holiday have been here five minutes?

Last seasons team started the year ridiculously hot from three and cooled off significantly.

This years team is elite defensive so far and elite offensively.

Have also statistically been the best clutch team in the league so far despite the **** show tonight.

Far more sustainable.

different team, yes.. Better team .. Yes, or at I least I hope so.. But when the playoffs come, the players better play as advertised because our coach will not be coaching them up.. far better chance he coaches them down..

Calling a timeout is not the magic bullet you seem to think it is. We have no data that proves calling a timeout works to stop an opponent's run.

Also, he did call timeouts. He called a timeout early in the 4th when our bench unit was struggling (then out of the timeout, they played better) and he called a timeout right before the final play of regulation to design a play where we got the ball in our best player's hands.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

1. the Celtics blow the Hornets the **** out
2. the Celtics win a close one
3. the Hornets win a close one and we piss our pants
4. the Hornets blow the Celtics the **** out and we piss *and also* poop our pants

I'm somewhat confident in the Celtics, but looking at the options, I'm not sure I'm going to be wearing pants.

Boo Bridges. Boo.
And if Mark Williams goes off, please be aware it won't be for the first time, he does that now.

I think there is a 5th option. Boston goes back and forth all game. Pulls away in the end to win by double digits.. Neither too close but not enough for a blowout.

Time to check in the postgame thread and see how many pairs of pee pants we have. Celtics had to work hard to lose this one and they did it.

Nah out of sorts is turnovers and bad shots. Wasn't the case.

Please stop.... This was the same team that was fully healthy that barely squeaked out of victory against the worst team in basketball last night..

This coach is literally clueless Or spineless as the players make the same dumb decisions almost year after year.. At some point We shouldn't even be close enough to miss a big free throat.. There is such a huge talent advantage and we barely squeak out against bad teams on a regular basis..

The Celtics have the biggest point differential in the NBA.

Expecting an NBA team to blow out every team they play is comical.

Even the KD Warriors didn’t do it.

You've got a hard job being the voice of reason here.

Are you guys 11-3 or 3-11?

The Celtics missed 10 FTs. Hauser went 1-9 on 3s. Players like Hauser are like NFL PKs - their sole purpose is to make FGs. Hauser's is to make 3s. Despite his performance, he's good at his job. Meanwhile, the Hornets shot out of their hineys.

This was not only the back end of a B2B, but the final game of a two week road trip.

Chillax. 8-) :meditate:
