I’m a big Fultz supporter and praying for a miracle but it’s over.

TOS never went away in my opinion. He changed to leverage his legs and lower as opposed to his shoulders to shoot.

been saying this since a few years ago, He really needs momentum when he shoots.

Otherwise his shot is ugly.

Damaged goods.

It never did. People are just in denial.

I like Fultz, I honestly think he has superstar potential if only his tos can be healed. Unfortunately, his TOS is here to staY, and that puts a cap on his game.

It is well LONG overdue that we should have turned the page on him. What do we expect from a front office that likes length…

Fultz from what I can tell has been silent on social media. He is usually supporting his team and fellow players. He may be struggling because of the severity of the injury.

TOS came back when we drafted another PG with 6th pick.

I feel like I know why he's missing his 6th straight game now.

Beating dead horse was my reaction toward never ending recycling of same hypothesis:
1) is he injuried
2) TOS?
3) Tos curable?
4) Tos surgery?
5) Tos recovery?
6) taking more 3s
7) making more 3s
8) that one catch & shoot 3 that looked smooth
9) he said he will shoot more next time
10) next summer he will have whole healthy offseason to recover

off season additions:
11) allstar?
12) reaching pre-draft hype

+ bonus: fit with team, 3 point shooting in context of a team

I will always have my theories what happen, but that's a case with just about anybody who followed his career. We don't need to agree on it.

This is exactly why I made this thread. It's blatantly obvious that his injury and his shoulder has never recovered and just kind of becomes well enough for him to play for a while but it just keeps returning. I mean the way he is shooting looks exactly like someone that has shoulder issues would shoot.

I wouldnt even doubt it if the knee tendonitis is them covering up from him outright saying the shoulder that caused him to lose seasons and his shot is **** right now, and avoid the media strees of it.

Its time to move on. Supported him all the way , hoped he would heal and grow here. But it is clear as day. With his shoulder impeding his shot that much, I'm not even sure if he gets to MLE from another team. Super sad.

The worst part is, there is no other holes in his game besides shooting and he lost it. What could have been.

People who write its not mental have no idea how mental disorders look like. I was almost certain his problems will return when we didnt extend him. Poor guy, wish him the best.

His extension deadline is different than Cole’s. He can still be extended. It’s not a mental disorder either.

Fultz worked around his TOS by using his lower body to shoot instead of his shoulders. It never left. Also, his injury is legit his knee no conspiracy here. It’s lower body so there is logic to him trying to protect his knee reverting to a shooting style that doesn’t involve the lower body.

I mean, it looks like he’s taken about a thousand steps backward with that shot.

I’m with Pepe, I think it’s mental. Like the yips. The way he stops and then pushes the ball is like a golfer or a pitcher who’s lost confidence and aborts their follow-through.

If his “shoulder” issues are back, what would be the purpose of hiding it and making up a different injury? They would, however, cover it up if the yips had returned.
