Jesus. I'm already past the point of caring about wins/losses and just want to see the young talent develop. But we can't even get that it seems with this carousel of injuries between Musgrave and Watson.

Musgrave, Wicks and Reed all being hurt is a massive blow to this offense.

Lacerated kidney, extent of kidney damage = how long he will be back. Happened on a tackle where he landed on the ball.

Oof. Awful. Speedy, full recovery, my guy.

Between those three and Jones they are the offense. It's going to be an ugly one on Thursday.

Dark days as a Packer fan, this has not been fun. Very little to hang your hat on with this team right now.

Wonderful. Just as the offense was starting to hit their stride. It might be an all-time laugher tomorrow if Wicks and Reed can't go

This is annoying, but none of it affects my long-term outlook on the team. I'm feeling pretty okay about the last 2 drafts and the young talent on the team. Heck, you could argue that it's ideal to lose a bunch of games because of nagging injuries, as opposed to losing because the young guys aren't showing any promise at all. Best of both worlds - plenty of decent young talent, but not enough to overcome the injuries and win more than a handful of games.

Still frustrating as heck though.

Yep. I think there is a real argument to be made that the Pittsburgh game was true best case scenario. Our young guys played well and we still lost.

The Packers have something with these rookies man. I'll readily admit I was dead wrong on the Reed pick. He looks great

Most in the NFL? So it seems he isn't that bad in deep balls.

He fairly got criticized early on for his deep passing, but he's been much better the last few weeks

Well are these "deep balls" or are there a bunch of screens and short crossing routes mixed in there that went for 30 + yards?

Crap.....

Bo Melton and James Robinson bumped up to the active roster as a by-product

I'm not sure the exact split of deep shots vs screen passes on his raw numbers but as far as purely passing deep is concerned he's certainly improved the last few weeks

I'd like to see Malik Heath line up as a tight end. Obviously not a run blocker, but dude is definitely tough enough.

If we manage to somehow beat the Chiefs, it's gotta be time to completely cut bait on Carlson and bring in a vet right?

Tom Silverstein:
GREEN BAY − The Green Bay Packers returned from their Thanksgiving weekend break Monday in fairly good condition.

Coach Matt LaFleur took the team outside where the temperature was 20 degrees with a wind-chill reading of 6.

Running backs Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon were among the few that did not practice. Jones is still recovering from a torn MCL and Dillon has been dealing with a groin injury, although it did not limit him Thanksgiving Day at Detroit.

Tight end Josiah Deguara (hip) also didn't practice.

Cornerback Jaire Alexander, wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks and safety Rudy Ford, all of whom didn't play against the Lions, were practicing.

In addition, cornerback Eric Stokes took part in practice, which means the Packers have designated him for return from injured reserve. He has three weeks in which he can practice without the Packers making a roster move. They can return him to the 53-man roster anytime during that period......
